I Am Not My Diagnosis 5k Run/Walk!

The Bandit Grand Prix is back for Round 2, returning to the Brooklyn Storehouse on Saturday, May 30th.

The running race will consist of multiple short laps around a spectacular circuit in the heart of Brooklyn. Alongside the race encompasses a festival that combines music, food & beverage, and community in a vibrant and culturally diverse environment.

Organized at the intersection of the urban and traditional running scenes, the Bandit Grand Prix reimagines the traditional 5k to provide an incredible experience for all levels of athletes.

The innovative format features a full day of 5k Open Races which build energy and anticipation towards the 3k Super Final. All athletes will compete in the 5k Open Races for an overall ranking and a chance to advance to the nighttime 3k Super Final.

Following the Super Finals, there will be an after-party for participants, friends, and family, to celebrate collectively.

We invite everyone to get creative and wear plants and flowers during the event. Wear flower crowns, leafy necklaces, or even decorate strollers with plants and flowers! Wear floral headbands, corsages or boutonnieres or attach small potted plants to race belts. Let's make this event a colorful celebration for all ages!

The 37th Annual Kenneth Dolan Memorial 5k Run

Sunday, June 7, 2026 - Prospect Park Brooklyn, New York . All runners are welcome to join us for the free after party featuring activities for the family, food, drinks and music!

A SPECIAL THOUGHT

Kenny Dolan was alive for a brief 23 years. Yet in that time, he not only brought a tremendous amount of joy to a great number of people, but more importantly, he taught them how to laugh, love and have fun.

Tragically, on March 14, 1990 Kenny passed away as a result of an automobile accident. The Kenny Dolan Memorial Fund at Iona University has been established from this race to assist a student in need of financial support for his or her education. It is in this spirit that Kenny will be remembered.

DIRECTIONS

By Car - LIE to BQE to Prospect Expressway – 10th Avenue Exit make right at light then next two rights onto Prospect Park West. Holy Name Church is located between Windsor Place and Prospect Avenue on Prospect Park West. Registration is in the school basement.

By Bus

Holy Name Church stop is at the end of the B68 as well as along the B67 line.

By Train

F train to 15th Street/Prospect Park Station. Holy Name Church is located on Prospect Park West between Windsor Place and Prospect Avenue.
