Please join Adirondack Multi-Sport Club as we carry on the tradition of the West River Road Time Trials.
Traditional course is a 10ish mile out and back with TT/Tri and Road bike divisions.
New this year will be a 20 Kilometer option for those looking for a little more.
Registration:
West River Rd offers online registration with BikeReg closing at 5:00pm on race day. Race night registration will also be available between 6:00 – 6:15 pm in the parking lot.
West River Rd will be self-seeding with 20K riders going first, then 10 mile riders. Listen carefully and you might hear a few “catch me if you can” callouts.
Parking:
Park at gravel lot on Mill Site Rd.
Bib Pickup:
Bibs will be available for pickup between 6:00pm - 6:20pm near the timing trailer at the start. For West River Rd bibs will be worn on your right side.
Road Bike Category Restrictions:
Only equipment that is permissible for use in a mass start road race under USAC 1I1(g) may be used in the road bike categories. Disc wheels and TT helmets are permitted (but may be subject to ridicule from your fellow racers). "Clip on" bar extensions are not. The timer shall be the final arbiter in any disputes regarding acceptable equipment and clothing.

- Parking will be in the Queen's Market Place South Parking area behind Bike Works Beach & Sports. Please do not park in the parking area next to the businesses.
Timing:

Competitors will be sent off at approximately 30 second intervals, based on discretionary seeding, with slower riders starting first. The starter may delay the actual start time for each rider but this will NOT affect the individual rider’s finishing time.

Time Trial will not have on site registration in order to have a proper send off time sent out in a timely manor. UCI approved time trial bikes are allowed in the time trial. Cat 5 and 4 will be allowed to have non compliant time trial bikes aka tri bikes.

Please avoid parking on the course, there is plenty of street parking Start times will be sent out via email after reg closes prior to the event. Category 3 and 4 riders will only be able to use mass start bikes to level the playing field for the state champs in those categories. Category 1 and 2 as well as masters events are able to use time trial bikes or mass start bikes. Novice/ cat 5 riders are able to use either since that is not a state title event and to allow for triathletes to participate as well. Please arrive early as to reduce traffic around the course.
All riders from all states are allowed and encouraged to participate. To be eligible for state titles and medals you must be a PA resident, hold a PA license, and hold a current USA Cycling annual license.
The PA State Champ categories include Men's categories 1 and 2, 3, 4, and all masters categories, Women's 1 and 2, 3, 4 and masters categories as well as juniors categories. Men's and women's category 5/ novice fields are not state champs fields and will not receive medals. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and we hope to see you on Sunday Aug 23rd!

NEPA VELO Time Trial Pennsylvania State Championships pb Discover NEPA 2026
Sunday Aug 23rd 2026 First rider off at 10am to 1 pm Individual riders starting every 30 seconds
Course map provided at nepavelo.com Course heading East on Elmhurst Blvd starting at the Intersection at December Dr continues on Elmhurst Blvd until just before Blue Shutters Road. Riders will then complete a U-turn continue on Elmhurst Blvd heading back towards the start finish, will make another U turn just prior to the start finish to complete their 2nd loop. Please keep left of the lane to complete U turn near finish and to the right to go through the start finish.
Marshals will be positioned at the start and turn around to help with traffic management. The road is not closed during the event, non-local traffic will be requested to take alternative route 307 by marshals when able. Cones and signage will be put up to warn drivers to slow down for the event on both the start and U-turn sides of the course. A volunteer will also be at the intersections of Elmhurst Blvd and December Dr and September Dr for safety management minimizing traffic on Elmhurst Blvd.

If you need us to invent a category we will just for you. Getting on your bike, going fast and making friend is what grows the sport. Don’t be fooled, the best athletes in the Midwest will grace this race with their best carbon aero tuck and retro fixie with wool jersey.
This is your chance to finally see if your TT bike is that much faster than your road bike. Or race a solo race and then do a “duo” with your friend. Try the coed “duo” to! Do you feel better your second race? Then your need a harder warm up for future events.
COURSE: The fastest and flattest 5-mile course in Kansas! This predominately West to East course follows the Kansas river bottoms road Northwest of DeSoto. See if you can join the “9-minute club!” for men or “10-minute club!” for women.
REGISTRATION: Registration is after 5:45pm and work with us since we are all hustling here after our day jobs. Race starts after 6:30pm Race entry is $25 and you get to race two 5-mile TT’s. During the longer summer months, a 3^rd race may be possible if you are a sicko! There are no bathrooms so take care of biz on the way in.

Parking: On Research Way near the west junction of Research Way and University Blvd. This is just west of western entrance to Florida Polytechnic University. Parking is free.

Group Ride and Awards

After each time trial, we will have awards per category (3 minimum per category for awards)

Group ride will then take place starting 10:00am-10:30am ranging from 30-50 miles (moderate-hard pace); standard route is ~45 miles
Overall Series Awards

Overall Series Awards including Medals for top 3 in each category
-
Overall Series Champions Jersey and Trophy for winner in each category

Best 8 results will count towards overall points series (2 results get dropped if competing in all 10 time trials)

Points System: 1st (30), 2nd (25), 3rd (21), 4th (18), 5th (16), 6th (15), 7th (14), 8th (13), 9th (12), 10th (11)
