Endurance sports organizations in Rayong

Five friends in Rayong, Thailand, Boom, Boat, Ness, Gid, and Poom, launched SLY Running Crew in April 2025 with a philosophy as unconventional as their name: "Training for the Zombie Apocalypse." The message strips away running culture's obsession with metrics and intimidation. Instead, SLY offers runs that vary in pace and distance, but always end the same way: with friends you didn't have before you started. Now roughly 60 runners gather every Sunday at 6 AM, led by SLY founders and captains like Sun, Boom, Nine, Kaeng, P'KT, and others sly crew, through Rayong's Old Town streets, coastal roads along the Gulf, and hill trails. Membership is completely open, no fees, no pace requirements, no fitness tests. Women, men, LGBTQ+ runners, families, and beginners all belong. Post-run culture matters just as much as the miles: coffee, brunch, yoga, and stretching sessions extend the community time. SLY positions itself as invested in Rayong itself, supporting local cafés and markets, proving that running crews only truly succeed when they strengthen the neighborhoods they call home.
