Running Club HG started with a straightforward vision: blend running with community at a newly opened cafe in Bad Homburg, just outside Frankfurt. Before 2026, no organized running crew existed here. Founded by cafe owners who saw an opportunity to build something together, the club has grown to around 20 members, mostly parents navigating busy family lives. Every Sunday at 10:30, they gather at my soulspace for a moderate-paced, medium-distance run before returning to refuel and reconnect. The atmosphere is warm and genuinely welcoming, rooted in a belief that Sunday mornings belong to movement, then nourishment, then each other. Running is the reason they started. The cafe is the reward. Community is everything.
