Founded by Lisa Klein in October 2023, the crew started with a simple goal: finding training partners and building genuine connections within Berlin's running community. What began as a personal search for consistent marathon training partners has grown to around 50 members from across the city. The 10-kilometer run at 6:00 to 6:15 pace keeps the group together, regardless of fitness level. But the run itself is only half the ritual. The real glue happens afterward, when runners linger at nearby cafes for coffee and conversation that often stretches into the afternoon. blend kollektiv treats running as social infrastructure, not just exercise, creating a foundation where adult friendships develop naturally over shared miles and casual discussion about splits, race plans, and life updates.
