    In June 2021, Sara Asmoarp returned to Gothenburg from London with a mission: fill the gap she'd noticed in her city's running scene. Alongside co-founder Caroline Norin, she launched We Run West to create space where runners could gather weekly, connect, and grow together. The crew's approach centers on timed intervals, a structure that levels the playing field across all speeds and abilities. Every Thursday near Slottsskogsvallen, the group assembles for medium-distance runs marked by synchronized starts and high-fives along the way. What began as two friends wanting community has grown into a dependable rhythm for Gothenburg runners seeking both structure and encouragement. We Run West proves that running becomes richer when shared.
