    Indoor pool based Sprint & Olympic distance Triathlon based at Freedom Leisure in the Forest of Dean.

    Great event for beginners wanting to try the sport for the first time or for more experienced athletes looking to start the season off with a short & friendly race.

    25m heated pool, secure transition, left turn only bike ride,scenic run route. Finishers medal for everyone.

    Distances :- SPRINT 400m pool swim, 20k bike, 5k run

    OLYMPIC 750m Pool Swim, 38km Bike, 10km Run

    Event details and schedule

    Event will start from 8.00am to 11.30amam depending on number of swim waves, registration will be open from 7.00am on the morning of the event

    Parking is free and is on site.

    Please register before attempting to rack your bike and at least 30 mins before your swim time slot.

    A race briefing will be held poolside when you are handed your race chip.

    Please ensure you are on poolside 10mins before your swim time.

    The bike & run route are on the website and swim start times will be sent via email and on the web site a week before the event. Please ensure you look at course /route and are familiar with your Bike route especially.

    Event venue is Freedom Leisure Centre Church Road Lydney

  • An OCR paradise set in a private estate The route will take you through a mix of dense forest and firetrack paths.

    The route is littered with endless natural obstacles and tricky terrain along with a selection of the toughest obstacles we could think of.

    This year will be a festival feel with live music, drinks, food tent, running all day.

    The MAY HILL MASSACRE Or MAYHEM an 8 or 16 mile tough cross country trail run thats starts and finishes with a tough climb. Throw in some very muddy trails some great sceneryand the open plain at the top of Mayhill and you have a recipe for a must do challenge.

    Bragging rights are yours as you return back down from May Hill through the private Huntley estate to the finish to claim your well earned medal.

    Early entries are now open and with limited places its adviseable to secure your place for one of Gloucestershires iconic runs.

    The Race HQ is Huntley Church Ross Road (A40) Huntley GL193EX

    Parking is limited so please car share if possible

    Race starts at 10.00am for Canicross & 10.05am for all other runners on the Saturday.

    Race starts at 9.30am for 16 mile mayhem and 10am for 8 mile runners on the Sunday.

    Registration open from 8.30amam inside Leaf Creative Centre on the saturday.

    and 8.15am for 16 mile runners on the sunday.

    Collect your timing chip from registration (TP Tent) in garden centre garden

    Tea and Coffe, cakes sold in TP before and after race/event.

    You will get muddy and the course can be very slippery so please wear appropriate footwear and have a change of clothes.

    Toilets are available on site but no showers

    You will receive an email of confirmation when you enter and another email with race details 7 days before the race.

    Wild Boar Triathlon 70.3 Middle Distance & Olympic

    Swim in the beautiful Lake at Mallards Pike in the Forest of Dean

    Cycle the undulating route in the heart of the Forest of Dean, Gloucester.

    Run the undulating of road trail route ,maybe you will see a wild boar, and collect a unique medal & race momento

    This is a tough event with a very scenic bike route and a trail run route suitable for road shoes

    Event details and schedule

    Races will start at 8.30am

    Olympic is Sat 12th & 70.3 is Sunday 13th June

    Registration and transition will be open from 7.00 - 8.15am on Sunday 21st June.

    Olympic Distance is 1500m Swim 40k Bike and a 10.5k run

    Wild Boar is 1900m Swim 90k (2 Lap Bike) and 21km Run

    Aid stations on bike will be at 40k

    Aid Stations on run will be at every 2.5k

    Bike course is a safe route with some steep hills

    Please arrive at registration between the hrs of 7am and 8.15am Brief will be at 8.20 am.

    It should be a wetsuit optional swim but you will be notified if this changes nearer the date.

    Parking:- Small fee to park in Forestry next to Lake.

    Please Bring own swim caps and wetsuit.

    Registration and transition will be open from 7.00 - 8.15am on Sunday 21st June.

    Olympic Distance is 1500m Swim 45k Bike and a 10.5k run

    Wild Boar is 1900m Swim 90k (2 Lap Bike) and 21km Run

    Aid stations on bike will be at 45k

    Aid Stations on run will be at every 6 Miles

    Bike course is a safe route with some steep hills

    Please arrive at registration between the hrs of 7am and 8.15am Brief will be at 8.20 am.
