See full detailsThe Good Work Gang arrived in Cleveland in July 2025 with a philosophy stripped to its core: men showing up for each other, both on the road and in life. Founded on the principle of no egos and just good work, the crew has grown into a multicultural, multigenerational community united by accountability and personal growth. Every Sunday at 8:30 AM, members gather at Steelyard Commons for the Run Buddy Run, a half-marathon-distance effort at a moderate pace where the crew runs together from start to finish. Health, discipline, and the standard they set together define The Good Work Gang, a crew open to all men committed to the work.

Join us virtually or in-person on June 27, 2026 at Edgewater Park, Kite Field in Cleveland, Ohio. If you are joining us in-person, please know this event is for humans only. Virtual participants are welcome to run with their dog.
The need for funds to support the homeless dogs of Cleveland continues to grow every year. This year as an added incentive for individual fundraisers, you may choose to receive a portion of your registration fee back if you hit your fundraising goal. Those who raise $250 or more may receive $20 back from the registration fee. To receive this benefit, you must opt in while setting up your fundraiser.
All participants are encouraged to post on social media using #CityDogsRunCle.
RACE DAY TIMELINE
Packet pick up/day of registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
June 27, 2026 - 9:00 a.m. event begins with 5k send off immediately followed by 1 mile
Top finisher awards will be presented as the winners finish.

$40 February 22 - June 27 (Race day registration available - online registration cut off is June 26 at noon)
*Participants who register by May 10, 2026 are guaranteed a t-shirt, those who register after May 10 are not guaranteed a shirt and/or requested shirt size or a participant medal.
WHO DOES THIS RACE SUPPORT?
All donations benefit Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland who provides financial assistance for the animals at Cleveland Animal Care and Control, which includes daily enrichment opportunities, medical care, and supporting the CITY DOGS adoption and volunteer programs.

The ThriveK is an inclusive fun day focused on empowering all abilities and includes a timed 5K as well as an untimed 1-Mile Walk & Roll.
Runners, walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs are all encouraged and welcome! All ThriveK proceeds directly benefit Hattie Larlham programs, services and facilities.

The Full Moon Trail Series began in 2018 with a focus on showcasing select Northeast Ohio trails within the Cleveland Metro parks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Each summer, trail runners and enthusiasts compete in these weeknight trail races with distances ranging from 3-5 miles and difficulty levels from beginner to moderate.
This years trail series consists of 4 events total and features a Full Moon Trail Series post-race celebration/awards ceremony.

Our location at the Nautica Waterfront District, Music Box Supper Club is serving as the hospitality partner for our annual paddling celebration of Cleveland’s Cuyahoga River, providing free live Reggae music and Caribbean-inspired cuisine at their riverside location on Saturday (7/18/26). We will host the Riverfront Expo and early paddler check-in on Friday evening (7/17/26). The 8th Annual Blazing Paddles Paddlefest is Ohio's 2nd largest paddling event for kayaks, canoes, standups, and surf skis on the Cuyahoga River, a historic body of water that's risen like a Phoenix since the June 22, 1969 fire sparked the global environmental movement and clean water protections.
