The annual "Run The Runway" 5K hosted by the Mojave Fitness Center will take place on Saturday, October 10th at 8:00am. Join us for a Halloween themed 5K as we run on the iconic and historic 3 mile long Mojave Airport runway! You'll get the once in a lifetime experience of running on the same strip of pavement as the fighter planes of WW2, the Virgin Galactic Unity Spaceship, and the world's largest plane, Stratolaunch!! Where do I park? Parking will be available in the available parking spaces just south of the fitness center (paved spaces) How do I get to and from the race? It is recommended to use your own personal vehicle or to carpool with another race participant to arrive on time. Do you have opportunities to train for the race? Yes, we will have several classes available at the fitness center as well as personal training available to get you ready! Are there any volunteer opportunities? Restrooms Restrooms are located inside of the Fitness Center. Covid-19 Protocol: If you are feeling ill, have a fever or any flu/covid like symptoms, please stay home. Should any changes come through from the state or county that prohibits the race to happen in person, we will still hold the race virtually for all participants. There will be no refunds if the race is held virtually.
