Cycle Selkirk Park to Netley Creek
This non competitive 30 km cycle is about getting outside, riding together, and supporting The Joy Smith Foundation’s work to prevent human trafficking. This year we've introduced a beautiful new 30 km mixed terrain cycling route from Selkirk Park to Netley Creek and back. The ride features quiet country roads, scenic wetlands, abundant wildlife, open prairie views, and picturesque cycling scenery in Manitoba's Interlake.
👕 Swag & Awards: All paid participants receive a premium technical event shirt. Timed runners will also receive a digital finisher certificate, with physical medals for the top finishers. (Note: Free registrations for children 12 and under do not include a shirt).
Fundraise & Win
Joy in Action includes a run, walk, and cycle fundraising challenge supporting The Joy Smith Foundation’s work to prevent human trafficking.
As you fundraise, you'll earn rewards along the way—raise $150 and receive a custom embroidered Joy In Action hat, or raise $300 and earn a Joy In Action hoodie. You'll also have the chance to compete for exciting prizes, including an expense-paid Tundra Buggy Adventure for two in Churchill, Manitoba, featuring airfare, hotel accommodations, and meals.
Most importantly, every dollar you raise helps strengthen prevention efforts and support survivors across Canada.

Joy in Action
Virtual Run/Walk/Cycle Fundraising Challenge
Joy in Action Virtual is a nationwide fundraising challenge in support of The Joy Smith Foundation’s fight against human trafficking. Participants across Canada commit to raising funds in their communities while completing a chosen distance. Every dollar raised supports prevention, education, and survivor initiatives, and every kilometre reflects that commitment.
Through September 30, 2026, participants focus on building momentum, engaging donors, and driving impact. Fundraising remains at the heart of the challenge, with participants competing on a dedicated virtual leaderboard, earning incentives, and working toward prizes.
Fundraising winners will be announced on October 1 2026 once the campaign closes.
Complete your chosen distance by September 30th
The Sprinter (5 km walk/run or 25 km cycle),
The Trekker (25 km walk/run or 100 km cycle),
The Endurer (100 km walk/run or 500 km cycle), or
