- Founded in December 2012 by Robin, RUNMDN Running Crew has grown into a close-knit community of around 300 runners united by their passion for exploring Medan’s vibrant streets. Embracing inclusivity and camaraderie, the crew meets regularly for varied runs—from speed work to relaxed group jogs—catering to all levels and fostering genuine connections. Medan’s rich cultural tapestry, from historic sites like Maimun Palace to green spaces such as Lapangan Benteng, serves as an inspiring backdrop for their urban adventures. Beyond training, RUNMDN gathers at Sangrai Coffeeshop, where friendships deepen over shared stories and coffee. The crew also actively participates in local events like the Medan Marathon and Color Run, reinforcing their role within the city’s flourishing running scene. For RUNMDN, running is more than exercise—it’s a way to celebrate Medan’s heritage, build community, and experience the city’s energy step by step.
