La Coalición de Cáncer Colorrectal de Puerto Rico, es una organización sin fines de lucro, compuesta por varias organizaciones académicas, de pacientes y organizaciones comunitarias que durante más de una década ha tenido como objetivo principal educar y concienciar a la población en general sobre prevención, diagnóstico y tratamiento de cáncer colorrectal. El cáncer colorrectal es la segunda causa de muerte por cáncer en Puerto Rico.Tanto los hombres como las mujeres están a riesgo de desarrollar cáncer colorrectal. Este tipo de malignidad usualmente no presenta síntomas en etapas tempranas, sin embargo, el cáncer colorrectal puede ser prevenible en cerca del 90% de los casos.

Journeying through the rolling hills, the coastal plains, and the unique gravel roads of southern Puerto Rico, you will face an unforgettable challenge framed by the tropical allure of the Caribbean
We’ve carefully chosen a late march date to provide an ideal cycling getaway for cyclists who are wrapping up their winter, offering a perfect opportunity to start your riding season logging in plenty of kilometers in warm, sunny weather.
We’ve crafted an event that will test your endurance while highlighting the best of Puerto Rico’s breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture. Whether you chose to complete the two day “Grinder” main event or just come to ride one of the two daily events, this will be an adventure through one of the most beautiful regions in the Caribbean.
Friday’s Gravel “Crit” will be an exhibition Gravel Criterium and promises to be an exciting preamble to the main event Saturday and Sunday. The “Crit” is perfect for those who love fast-paced competition and want to stretch their legs.
The first leg of the main event – “La Épica Gravel Grinder®” will take place on Saturday offering a taste of what’s to come. It will offer two options:
For those who come to compete in one of the OPEN categories this will be an 80Km ride.
Those who are riding for recreational purposes have the option of doing the same 80km ride at a Non-competitive pace.
Sunday's second and final stage will be an 140Km ride for those who come to compete in one of the OPEN categories.
Those who are riding for recreational purposes will, once again, have the option of doing then 140Km version of the route at a Non-competitive pace.
