- Founded in May 2024 by physical education professional Wesley Amorim, Pombo is a vibrant running crew in São Caetano do Sul, Brazil, that brings together about 150 members every Tuesday evening for inclusive, joyful runs. Embracing a philosophy of easy pace and long runs, Pombo encourages runners of all levels to move comfortably while building endurance and friendship. The crew’s weekly route starts at the City Council building, winds through urban streets, and ends at Província de Treviso Park, where participants choose their distance and pace in a supportive, noncompetitive atmosphere. More than just running, Pombo fosters genuine connections and community spirit, reflecting São Caetano do Sul’s welcoming neighborhoods and abundant green spaces. With free membership, a friendly social hub at Vamo Toma Uma Tap House, and participation in local races and special events, Pombo continues to weave running into the city’s culture as a shared celebration of health, well-being, and togetherness.
