Join us for the Inaugural Sugar Rush Relay on November 15, 2025! This event is a 75 mile relay race through Sugar Land, TX. The 5 mile course begins at the Talyard Brewing Co, then tours along Oyster Creek, recharge at the 1/2 way aid station at Old Kempner Stadium, continue on past the iconic Imperial Sugar Mill and Constellation Field Stadium, and finally returning back to the brewery. Teams of up to 5 members will complete 15 laps for a total of 75 miles. Celebrate with your team after with a craft beer and delicious food options at Talyard Brewing Co. Go to the "Race Info" tab to learn more. There is a Running Division and Rucking Division. Build your team and get registered today!

The 47th Annual Lone Star Stampede
Start your 2026 with purpose, pride, and the power of community. The 47th annual Lone Star Stampede is a Houston tradition that unites runners, walkers, University of Texas alumni, and supporters for a day of fitness, fun, and giving back.
Hosted by the Texas Exes Houston Chapter, this annual event features a 10K, 5K, and Kids 1K Fun Run, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels.
More than just a race, the Lone Star Stampede is about making an impact—proceeds fund scholarships for Houston area students pursuing their dreams of higher education at The University of Texas at Austin. As a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Texas Exes Houston Chapter is committed to fostering the next generation of Longhorn leaders while strengthening the bonds of our Houston community.

Inclement Weather Policy
The event will be held rain or shine. If weather conditions are unsafe, the event will be canceled and all fees will be donated to the Texas Exes Houston Chapter Scholarship Fund. No refunds or transfers.

The Houston Methodist Sugar Land Half Marathon offers tons of easy parking, a convenient start/finish line, and a post-race celebration for the entire family. The course is a single loop with almost all right turns, and it's widely regarded as one of the most beautiful courses in the Houston Area. The course is mostly flat and fast with a plentiful amount of water/Gatorade cheer stations along the way to hydrate and energize you all morning long. The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids' dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)
*Register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day, to guarantee your shirt!
🏁🏅Create a team, or join an existing team during registration. Once 4 people have registered on that team, all team members will be refunded $5, once ten people register another $5 will be refunded for a total of $10!
