    Fort Knox Triathlon Challenge Returns to Anderson Aquatics and Eastman Park

    Fort Knox, Kentucky- Athletes and fitness enthusiasts are invited to test their endurance at the Fort Knox Triathlon Challenge, set for Saturday, May 16th at 8 a.m. This exciting multi-sport event will take place across Anderson Aquatics and Eastman Park, featuring a 400-meter swim, 15-kilometer bike ride, and 5K run, perfect for seasoned triathletes and ambitious newcomers alike.

    Registration is $50 per participant, and every athlete will receive a customized race shirt, custom race water bottle, and customized race bib to commemorate their participation. The event will also honor the top three male and female finishers with special awards, celebrating exceptional achievement and determination.

    The Fort Knox Triathlon Challenge offers a safe, professionally organized course that showcases the community's scenic areas while promoting fitness, healthy competition, and camaraderie among participants. Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer on the athletes as they tackle each leg of this exciting race.

    Runners and walkers are welcome! Join us to explore nature and the beautiful Loretto Motherhouse property in this exciting event. The course will take participants through woodlands, around lakes, through grassy trails, and along graveled paths lined with cattle. The course includes some incline and uneven ground. Sign Up early to receive a complementary race t-shirt.

    There will be a coffee/breakfast food truck on site to purchase refreshments, as well as educational booths and activities. Walkers are welcome! For the safety of everyone, no dogs on the course please. All funds raised support the missions of the Loretto Community at the Loretto Motherhouse.

    Welcome to The Cameron Ponder Cycling Classic. The "CPCC" provides funding to the KSP Trooper Ponder Memorial Scholarship. For more information on the memorial fund please visit Trooper Cameron Ponder Memorial Scholarship Fund

    This year we are excited to be part of the Kentucky Cycling Challenge led by BikeWalk Kentucky and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. For more information visit: https://bikewalk.ky/kentucky-cycling-challenge

    Cycle through the lightly traveled and scenic rural roads of Central Kentucky. The ride will be escorted out of Elizabethtown by KSP. Join us as we honor hometown hero and Kentucky State Trooper Ponder along with first responders everywhere. Trooper Ponder’s badge number is 954; therefore, $9.54 from every registration will be donated to the memorial fund. We are proud that for each of the first three years of this event, we have been able to donate at least one scholarship annually to the Cameron Ponder Scholarship Fund. The SAG stops will be staffed by first responders and their families, as well as local civic organizations. T-shirts are included with registrations received before 15AUG2026. Registrations after 16 AUG will receive T-shirts/swag based on availability.
