    In July 2023, Tommaso Meneghin asked a question that had haunted his ultra runs through the Venetian Prealps: what happens inside you while you run? He found his answer by creating Introspective Running in his home of Vittorio Veneto, bringing together 35 runners who measure success not in pace or splits, but in inner discovery. The crew gathers every Wednesday at 7 PM from the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption, dispersing into the surrounding hills at whatever speed allows for genuine introspection. Tommaso, a father and ultrarunner, built a crew philosophy that runs counter to performance culture: no race results dominate group chats, no external validation drives the narratives. Instead, runners explore what the endurance community whispers about but rarely elevates, the profound internal shifts that emerge when body and trail connect for sustained hours. Post-run gatherings in Vittorio Veneto's historic center become informal debrief sessions where conversations drift toward creativity, relationships, purpose. Trail running becomes meditation. Movement becomes teacher. Community becomes witness to individual discovery.
