    Mark your calendars and lace up your running shoes for the 11th Annual Grand Living Park at Lake Mary 5K Fun Run/Walk, a meaningful event dedicated to raising awareness and support for the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center (ADRC).

    Event Details:

    📅 Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026

    ⏰ Race Start: 7:30 AM (Arrive early to park, warm up, collect your race bib and shirt, and use the restroom.)

    📍 Location: Grand Living Park at Lake Mary Assisted Living, 1001 Royal Gardens Circle, Lake Mary, FL 32746

    Registration Fees:

    $30 before race day

    $35 on race day

    Registration also available at Front Running Sports (1061 S. Sun Drive, Unit 1097, Lake Mary, FL 32746)

    What to Expect:

    This is a non-chip timed event, perfect for runners and walkers of all skill levels. A clock at the finish line will display your time.

    Awards: The top 3 males and top 3 females will receive awards. All finishers will receive a medal (limited to the first 400 registrants).

    T-Shirts: Free commemorative T-shirts for the first 400 registrants.

    Unforeseen Cancellation Policy: If the Doughnut Day 5K cannot take place as scheduled, all participants will be switched to the Doughnut Day 5K Virtual Race. Finisher medals and shirts will still be available for pickup at Front Running Sports. Details will be communicated via email and posted on our Facebook page.

    Join us for the 2nd Annual 5K hosted by Spanish Girls Run, a nonprofit 501.(C) 3 organization rooted in community and movement that’s redefining what a runner looks like and who wellness is for. This race is more than just miles it’s a celebration of culture, visibility, and power in motion. Timed, beginner-friendly, and full of purpose, this 5K honors the closing of Hispanic Heritage Month and fuels our mission to create more inclusive, safe, and empowering spaces in fitness for Latinas, women of color, moms, and allies.
