Kura Club
Every Friday at 19:30, people who have never met shake hands beneath the last light of the working week at Bar do Milton, lace up, and move together through São Paulo. Kura Club, founded in June 2025 by Rafael, emerged from a simple insight: the city needed a crew that welcomed first-timers and seasoned runners alike, parents and kids, LGBTQ+ athletes and runners over 40, all under one banner. In less than a year, around 500 people have already found their place. Rafael's vision threads through the club's name itself. "Curar", the Portuguese verb meaning to heal or cure, captures Kura Club's core philosophy: movement is medicine. The Friday night Run For Fun at Bar do Milton is the anchor, but the ambition extends to yoga, functional training, and post-run rituals. What makes the crew distinct is not just what they run but how they hold space, insisting that connection and presence matter as much as the kilometers logged.
