Cal Poly Triathlon Event Organizer

The annual MTS (March Triathlon Series) Triathlon is brought to you by the passionate Cal Poly Triathlon Club. It serves as both a community race as well as the California Collegiate League Championship. The event is USAT Sanctioned, and it's hosted in the canyons of Central California, when the greenery is at it's peak lushness and the lake water is at a high level. All skill levels are welcome, so come out for a good time!

Event details and schedule

Packet pickup is on Friday, March 6th at GH Sports in San Luis Obispo from 11AM to 4:30PM, or on race morning from 8:30AM to 9:45AM. Race waves begin at 10:00AM. Parking is avaiable within the Lopez Lake Recreation Area.

Grab your bike, invite a friend (or ask a stranger if your bike is your only friend), eat some donuts, race to the top of our local Prefumo Canyon!

Race Rules:

Starting at SLODOCO, each racer has 10 minutes at each local location to eat as many donuts as they can. Each donut eaten will be 15 seconds off their time. After each round of eating, racers bike to the next location. Following the 3rd stop racers will head to the bottom of Prefumo canyon and race (or just ride) to the top.

There will be prizes for indvidual categories in race placement, donuts eaten, and a costume contest for the chance to win custom donut themed jerseys from Voler and GH Sports prizes!

Event details and schedule

The race begins at SloDoCo parking lot at 8:00am and ends at the top of Prefumo Canyon! Be prepared for some major fun!
