    Afterun Club began with a simple realization over beers: Juanda and Luisfer were running beautiful routes around Cantabria, but the real connection happened afterward. Founded in November 2025, the crew puts equal weight on the running and the "after," gathering around 40 runners each weekend at Centro Botín in Santander for 5 to 10 kilometer social runs. Routes rotate through Torrelavega, Suances, and across the region's diverse landscape, but the structure stays consistent: easy-paced running followed by coffee, drinks, or conversation wherever the group lands. Juanda brings experience from eight half-marathons and a full marathon, while Luisfer's newer perspective ensures the crew never loses sight of what draws people in. The philosophy is straightforward: running brings you together, but staying for what comes next keeps you coming back.
