Inaugural Paris-Bourbon County YMCA Indoor Triathalon!

Have you ever wanted to try a triathalon and didn't know where to start? This is a great opportunity for beginners and even kids to see what they are made of. It can also be a great tool for experienced athletes to test their training or prepare for the next event. Join us Saturday, April 18th for a fun day and to challenge yourself in this completely indoor race. A relay option is also available if you are a parent that wants to compete with their child or a group of two or three people that just want to do one or two events each.

Kids ages 7 - 13 will be able to compete but will run the indoor track instead of the treadmill. Parents/guardians 18 & over must be present at each event.

Come join us for a morning of fun and racing in Mount Sterling, KY!

Watch and cheer on your children as they SWIM, BIKE, and RUN all the way to the finish line. Participants will complete their swim at the MSMC Parks and Rec outdoor pool. They will then follow the designated route to the closed parking lot. Here they will find the transition area where their bikes will be staged for the bike leg. They will then complete their designated bike course again on a closed loop bike course. They will ride back to transition where they will park their bike and bike gear and take off on the run. The run course is also on a closed course. The race will finish with participants crossing the finish line in front of the MSMC office. Detailed Course and Event information in the event tab.

This race will be a USAT Sanctioned race. You will need to obtain a USAT one day membership for $10 if you do not have one.

When you register a sibling at the same time you receive a $10 discount!

    IT’S ALL ABOUT THE FUN!

Remember, this event is for FUN! We just hope to encourage healthy, positive, active lifestyles. We want to provide an opportunity for kids to have fun and be active in a way that challenges them. We will have a sign making station to help support your young racer or all of them. Please bring your cowbells, make a sign, and help us support these young racers.
