    Ease the nerves, shake out the legs, and get race-day ready.

    Join us for the ASICS Shakeout Run ahead of the ASICS Waterfront Half Marathon. This relaxed 30-minute run caters for all paces and is the perfect way to prepare for race day alongside fellow participants.

    What’s included:

    • Spot prizes

    • Refreshments

    • SuperBlast 3 Wear Test (first in first served)

    • Post-run coffee

    • Early bird priority access to race bib collection

    The session will begin at 10:00am and conclude by 11:00am.

    Please note:

    • All participants must register prior to attending.

    • Places are limited and capacity is strictly capped.

    • Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email, with a separate email containing full event details closer to the date.

    Bib Collection

    For registered Shakeout Run participants, race bib collection will be available from 11:00am – 12:00pm following the session.

    Course overview: Located south-east of Auckland city, between Beachlands and Maratai is this magical Regional Parl. The Omana Regional Park trails boast stunning native fauna, shady Pohutukawa, overlooking the magnificent view of the Auckland Harbour. The forest is home to native birds such as fantails, grey warblers and Tui. The track is a mixture of gravel, hard clay, pavement and grass.

    Suitable for: Anyone and everyone who loves dogs! Very short and mid range distances to suit everyone. A super fun and furry day out.

    Track condition: 30% pavement, 20% gravel, 50% forest trail
