    St. Aidan Parish and Blessed Francis Seelos Academy are pleased to invite you to our 9th St. Alphonsus Harvest Home Twilight One Mile Fun Run and 5K!

    • WHERE: This family friendly event will take place in beautiful North Park at the Harmar Pavilion (located up from the North Park Swimming Pool on South Ridge Drive)

    • WHEN: The 1 Mile Fun run will begin at 6:00 PM and the 5K will begin at 6:30 PM, on Friday, September 11th, 2026.

    Important Details:

    • THE COURSES: The 5K Course is a two-loop, wheel measured, 5K road race starting and ending on South Ridge Drive across from Harmar Pavilion and Pie Traynor Field. The Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run (ages 14 and under) will be a shorter loop that follows part of the 5K course.

    • RACE TIMING: The race will be timed by Miles of Smiles Timing Service. Results will be posted on the Miles of Smiles Website. www.smileymiles.com

    • Last Day To Be Guaranteed a Race Shirt:

    • Last Day of Online Registration/Day to be Guaranteed A Race Shirt. Wednesday, September 9th 6:00PM (After that date orders will be filled as received. If a size runs out, we will give the next size up until all t-shirts are distributed)

    • Pre-Race Packet Pickup/Registration. Thursday, September 4th 5-7 PM. Blessed Francis Seelos Academy entrance, 201 Church Road, Wexford, PA 15090

    • Race Day Registration. Friday, September 5th 4:00-5:45PM (1 mile) 4:00-6:00PM (5K), Harmar Pavilion.

    5K Awards:

    • Top 3 male and female overall finishers (Trophies)

    • Top 3 male and female Masters (over 40): (Trophies)

    • Top 3 Handcycle finishers (Trophies)

    • Top 3 in the following age groups (5K): 9 & under, 10-11,12-13, 14-15, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

    • Special awards:

    • 1st time 5K participant medal (overall) or 1st Harvest Home 5K

    • Seelos Double Medal (Completing both the 5K and 1 mile events--15 & under only)

    1 mile Awards

    • Top 5 male and female overall finishers

    • Top 5 in the following age groups: (5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15)

    Parking is at the North Park Pool Parking Lot. Walk to the Harmar Pavilion from the Parking Lot.

    Support: All race proceeds will support Saint Aidan Parish and Blessed Francis Seelos Academy Catholic School.

    Lace up and join us for the 17th Annual Run for Their Lives 5K on September 19, 2026! This timed charity fun run features an approximately 3-mile course through the beautiful, tree-lined streets of North Park in northern Allegheny County, just north of Pittsburgh, PA. Your participation helps raise awareness of bleeding disorders and supports essential education and advocacy programs.

    Online run registration will close at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 18. In-person registration will begin at 7:30 AM on Saturday, September 6!

    Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026

    Location: North Park Swimming Pool Loop, 303 Pearce Mill Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101

    Time: Registration begins at 7:30 AM, Race begins at 8:30 AM

    Distance: 5K (Approximately 3-mile course)

    Each participant will receive a technical race t-shirt (if registered by July 31, 2026), goody bag, and medal. The final day to ensure a shirt in your size is Friday, July 31.

    The registration fee schedule is as follows:

    Early Bird Pricing – $25 now through May 31, 2026

    Pre-Race Registration – $30 from June 1 – September 18, 2026

    Race Day Fee – $35

    Virtual Run for Their Lives 5K

    Our hybrid run gives you the choice to join us in-person on September 19 in North Park or be a virtual runner and run one of your favorite courses! No matter where you run, you’re still raising critical awareness and funds to support those affected by bleeding disorders in Western Pennsylvania!

    Registration for virtual runners is $25 and includes a t-shirt (if registered by July 31, 2026), race medal, and goody bag. Virtual runners have the option to have their race packets/bags mailed to them for an additional fee or free pick-up at the WPBDF office located at: 433 State Avenue, Suite #4, Beaver PA 15009.

    Experience an adventure race unlike anything else—paddle, pedal, and pace your way on the Conemaugh River to the West Penn Trail in the scenic, historic town of Saltsburg, PA.

    Solo racers must be at least 15 years old. Participants ages 12–14 may compete as part of a team, provided they do not complete the paddle segment on their own. E‑bikes are not permitted.

    Early registration opens April 1, 2026, and closes at 1 p.m. on October 8, 2026.

    Note: The paddle course will be finalized closer to race day based on river conditions.
