    The 2nd Annual "Swim of Legends" will be held on August 30th, 2026. Finish the summer with an open water ultra distance swim in the clear waters of iconic Geneva Lake! This is a US Masters certified swim! A USMS membership is required, $20 will be taken off registration cost if you are an annual USMS member. This event provides a secure, well-supported environment for experienced swimmers. The swim will be about 11 kilometers (7 miles). Each swimmer will be required to use a visibility float (swim buoy), we will have small ones to minimize drag that can be used for the race. Hydration and Nutrition stops will be provided at three locations along the course. Water temperatures are expected to be around 78 degrees. Wetsuits will not be allowed unless water temperatures are significantly cooler than the expected 78 degrees.

    Registration Includes: Swim cap, lightweight hoodie w/logo, awards (age groups and overall), lunch voucher and timed results.

    Join us on Monday, September 7, 2026 at 12:00pm for an exciting annual event that features the amazing scenery and landscape at Geneva Lake Distilling + Winery! Studio has a wide range of wines from dry to sweet to please every palate. Whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.     Ride Description:

    • Well marked and quiet country roads, cue sheets, SAG support, friendly volunteers and our well-stocked rest stops.

    • A non-competitive, scenic ride of 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles.

    • The first 150 riders to register get a commemorative water bottle with registration--don't miss out!!

    • The 25 mile route has a rest stop at 14 miles.

    • The 50, 75 and 100 mile routes all have rest stops every 25 miles.

    • The 100 mile route starts out with a scenic loop around Geneva Lake and returns to the start, then embarks on the 75 mile route, and has an extra water stop at 90 miles to help you get to the finish.

    Starting and Closing Times:

    • Suggest Starting Times: All routes open at 7:00 am and leave from The Lake Geneva House of Music, N3241 County Rd H, Lake Geneva WI. Parking is plentiful and free. If you want to ride with a group we are suggesting the following start times: 100 mile at 7:00 am, 75 mile at 7:30, 50 mile at 8:00, and the 25 mile at 8:30. Century riders should begin no later than 8:00 am. All riders must plan to complete their rides by 3:00 pm when all routes close and SAG support ends.

    • There is a farmers market until 2 pm the day of the ride at the start location (Lake Geneva House of Music) for your post ride enjoyment.

    SAG Support:

    • Phone equipped SAG's are intended to help riders needing assistance. Priority will be given to riders in emergency situations - illness, injury or irreparable mechanical breakdowns. Flat tires are not considered emergencies. SAG service stops at 3:00pm

    Safety: For your own safety and the safety of others:

    • Obey all applicable traffic laws.

    • Helmets, which comply with "U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets", are required.

    • Ride within your ability and physical condition.

    • Carry personal identification.

    • Bring a bike in good condition, with a spare tube, basic tools, a water bottle, and basic knowledge of repairs.

    • Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the ride.

    • The routes are on public roads which must be shared with motorists.

    • Local law enforcement authorities may patrol the roads and may issue citations for traffic violations.

    • Bicycles should be ridden single file at all times, even when traffic is not present.

    • State law prohibits the use of headsets while riding on public roadways.

    Join us for a glowing night of fun and community support at Badger High School's 5k Glow Run/Walk, benefiting FCCLA, a student organization dedicated to helping the community. Whether you're racing or walking, join the fun! Check-in starts at 6:00 pm, with the race beginning promptly at 7:30 pm and wrapping up by 9:30 pm.     We are so excited to welcome you back for Year 4 of the Abominable Trail Race! Hosted at the beautiful Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures venue. This isn’t just a race, it’s a day to celebrate the outdoors with friends. Whether you’re here to push your limits or enjoy a scenic stroll through the woods, there’s a place for you in our pack!

    Find your perfect distance:

    5K, 10K, or 15K: Great for runners and walkers of all levels.

    30K Challenge: Take it on solo or grab your squad for the Team Relay!

    Every participant gets a cozy Abominable shirt, an epic finisher’s medal to show off, free action photos of your big moments, professional chip timing, a well-marked course, and a refreshing drink on us at the finish line. See you on the trails!

    Individual Events:

    • Choose your favorite distance (5K | 10K | 15K | 30K) and head out on an adventure thru the beautiful trails and hills at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures.

    Team Events:

    • Create your team of 2, 3, or 4 and conquer our 30k course! Teams may bring a tent and set up in our Base Camp (festival) area. (Please let us know if you will be bringing a tent, so we can save you a spot.)

    Awards:

    • Top 3 M/F in the Individual 5K, 10K, 15K, and 30K will be awarded.

    Hangout with friends and cheer on runners in our Base Camp. Music, Games, Food Trucks, Local Craft Beer, Warm Fire Pits, and Local Vendors. Spectators are free.

    Early Packet Pick-Up:

    We will have early packet pick up Friday (11/13) at Lake Geneva House Of Music, which is directly across the street from the race venue.Time will be announced closer to the event. Packets can also be picked up the day of the race. We recommend arriving at least an hour before your start time to get parked and through registration.

    Family Friendly Atmosphere!!

    This is a family friendly event. We'll have a live DJ in basecamp (festival area), great local vendors, food trucks, and craft beer. Our Yeti roams around as well, so be sure to get a picture with him.

    Photography:

    We will have professional photographers on course during race day who are great at capturing amazing images of you to share. These are free with your registration.

    Course Map:

    The course map will be released closer to race day.

    Aid Stations:

    The 5k loop will have one water station around the halfway point.

    The 10k loop will have two water stations around every mile and a half to two miles.

    There will also be a water station at the finish line and a tent for multi-lap racers to leave your bag so you can refuel in-between laps.

    15K participants will do the 10K loop on their 1st lap, and the 5K loop on their 2nd lap.

    30K participants will do THREE laps of the 10K loop.

    Parking:

    Parking is at House of Music, directly across the street from the race location. $10 cash, per car. Please bring exact change, thank you.

    Where To Stay:

    We partner with great hotels, which are only 2-3 miles from the race venue. We'll post the booking links below once we secure the room blocks.

    Parking:

    • VIP parking is at House of Music (Across the street from Venue) - $25 per car - Prepay Only - Purchase during registration, as spots are limited.

    • Offsite Parking is at Hawks View Golf Course (2 miles from the Venue) - $10 per car - Pay onsite - You'll take a bus shuttle to House of Music.

    Racer Swag:

    • All racers will receive an Abominable Snow Race Finisher's Shirt and Medal

    • 20k (Yeti's Challenge) runners receive 3 Medals > 2 ASR Finisher's Medals (1 for each lap) + the coveted Yeti Nation Medal

    • All racers will receive a ticket for a Free Craft Beer (21 years or older), or a Hot Chocolate

    Food & Drink Situation:

    • We will have food truck(s) onsite at the event (cash or card)

    Festival Area (aka Basecamp)

    • We will have a Bag Drop Area on-site (free). Use of bag drop is at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

    • We will have changing tents on-site (Male & Female)

    • We will have porta-potties on-site at the event.

    • Hawks View Golf Course (Offsite Parking) has indoor bathrooms,

    • House of Music (VIP Parking) has outdoor porta-potties

    Elite/AG Awards:

    • Overall Top 3 Male/Female will be awarded with Cash Prizes and a Podium Flag.

    • Remaining competitive field will be placed in our Age Group awards and receive a Podium Flag
