From big races to Saturday morning group runs—find gravel events and connect with the local endurance sports community.
Women’s Cycling Collective:
Century Litha
Date: Saturday, June 20th
Start time: 7:55am
Location: Champlain Orchards, Shoreham, Vermont
Come join a community of warm, endurance minded, bright spirited women riders as we celebrate the summer solstice with a 100/50mi journey through the rolling gravel hills of Addison County, starting and ending at Champlain Orchards, one of the oldest, continually operating orchards in Vermont. Whether you're experienced with rides of longer duration or have been working to develop comfort and confidence as you build your capacity, there's opportunity here for you. Women's Cycling Collective is focused on offering collaborative, rider-focused events designed to support, encourage and connect women while they explore their potential through the context of the bike and the lens of endurance, training, and the natural world. We invite you to be part of the collective energy that serves to uplift, empower, and inspire women both on and off the bike.
Thank you to our generous business supporters and partners for enriching rider experience and making this event possible: Velocio, Physical Therapy, Frog Hollow Bikes, Bennett Creative Co., Champlain Orchards, Twig Farm, Bivo, and Bicycle Express.

For women completing the 100, this will provide a sense of familiarity in the second half, with a different perspective and feel since riding in the opposite direction.
Since our personal paces vary, many women will have crossover as they complete the first fifty miles and/or continue for a second lap as they work towards one hundred, promoting a sense of togetherness, an opportunity to cheer each other along, or simply share a smile or wave in recognition of our shared experience.
The route will be partially marked. Riders are expected to carry bike computers/GPS/phones that can support navigation.
