In spring 2025, Maria founded Sole Sisters Run Club in Midland, Texas, with one clear vision: a space for women to connect, laugh, and grow stronger together. What started as a desire to build sisterhood has become a weekly anchor for the city's running community. Tuesday evenings at Wadley-Barron Park draw women of all paces and experience levels, each one welcomed into a culture built on faith, friendship, and fitness. Beyond the runs, Sole Sisters organizes themed events and community service projects that weave purpose into every stride. Free to join and rooted in celebration of every achievement, the club has sparked a distinctive women-focused energy in Midland's West Texas running scene. Whether training for the ECR Midland Half Marathon or simply showing up for the sisterhood, members find confidence, support, and lasting connections on and off the pavement.
