Race Overview The West Texas Ultra is a 10K, 25K, 50K, and 50 Mile trail run held at the Lake Meredith National Recreation Area in the rugged landscape of West Texas. Featuring a remote yet scenic dirt single-track course. The race follows 30 miles of unique trails beginning and ending in Fritch TX at the South Turkey Creek Trailhead. Course Overview - Surface: Single Track Dirt Trail.- Course: South Turkey Creek Trailhead Course Map- Elevation: Rugged hills and climbs with approx. gains and loss of 4500ft for the 50M.- Location: Lake Meredith National Recreation Area- Weather: Historic Average shows 45-70 degrees.- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!- Pacer: Only 1 Pacer Per Runner and only allowed for 50M on the last lap(Sign Up) Texas Ultra Series This series spans all across Texas.
