Join us for the 10th Annual Sloan Everett Pure Country Pedal Memorial Bike Ride on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Breckenridge, Texas. There's a route for everyone, whether you're chasing a serious distance or bringing the whole family out for the day.
Five routes roll through the ranch land and rolling hills of Stephens County: the Greenhorn (4.22 miles), the Pony Express (7.79 miles), the Buckin' Bronc (18.73 miles), the Top Hand (31.62 miles), and Sloan's Route (59.07 miles). Every turn is marked, and ride support is strong. We keep this event small on purpose, so you'll never get lost in the shuffle or on the road.
Adult registration is $45 and includes an event t-shirt and a BBQ lunch ticket. Youth and kids' pricing is available, and little ones 12 and under ride free. Pre-registered riders are guaranteed their t-shirt size, so sign up early to lock yours in.
The day starts and ends at Breckenridge City Park. After the ride, stick around for a hearty BBQ lunch, live music from Max & Heather Stalling, a kids' area, and the kind of hometown welcome you only find in a small Texas town. The last rider in eats as well as the first and gets cheered the loudest. That's a promise.
Here's what makes this ride different: 100% of net profits go straight to our local volunteer fire departments, the Caddo, Hubbard Creek, and Wayland VFDs. We ride to honor Sloan Everett, a true pure country hero who gave his life protecting his family's cattle from a wildfire in 2017, and we ride to support the firefighters who answer the call every day.
Come ride with purpose. Saddle up, and we'll see you in October!
