Western States 100 Lottery Qualifier (sub 32-hour 100-mile) with 119 qualifiers in 2024 and 133 qualifier in 2025!
This is the December edition of our popular Brazos Bend races, with the marquee event being the 100-mile.
The Brazos Bend 100 is the largest trail race in Texas and one of the fastest trail races in the world on flat and smooth trails with incredible support from aid stations on a multi-loop course. The top 3 runners were under 16 hours in 2024. The course is 99.9% flat, and the only "hill" is a 10-foot rise over 0.1 of a mile. The rest of the ~16.7mi loop is flat surfaces that move from hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails under tree canopy, and smooth horse trails. Most runners will use a road shoe like the Altra Vanish Carbon 2, Torin 8, or Flow 2 but under wetter conditons a trail shoe may be a better choice. Conditions in December can have a mix of anything, but are typically great for running, genneraly between 40-70 degrees. Brazos Bend is a spectacular State Park located just South of Houston/Sugar Land and is most known for its abundance of birds and American Alligators, among other wildlife. The gators are a part of our race; there has never been an incident in the park's 50-year
history. Enjoy them on your run, from a distance, and you may get some unique race photos!
Complete the 50K or 50M in April, AND the 100K or 100M in December of the same calendar year to earn the Brazos Bend Challenge Coin.
Cutoff Times: for ALL races, the finish line closes on Sunday at 2 PM (32h 100M, 31h 100k, 31.5h Marathon, 31h Half Marathon). Final lap starts will be assessed to meet the course time limit at the discretion of the race director and staff.

The Run for the House is a family-friendly USATF-Certified competitive 5K and non-competitive 1 Miler. Registered participants receive a race shirt, medal, swag bag. Founded in 1978, the mission of RMHC Greater Houston is to offer a home away from home providing care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill children being treated in Texas Medical Center member institutions. The House provides a place to find rest and respite, activities, meals, and snacks for our families, at no cost.

The same person must finish all races in the same calendar year.
The entire race series can be done virtually by selecting the Virtual option at registration. Athletes may transfer a live registration to the virtual race by contacting us before the actual race date. In both cases Virtual rules apply.
For Yuri’s Night, either the 5K or the 10K Run will count.
For the Beneeezy Purple Monkey Fun Run either the 10K or 5K will count.
For the Space City Run, ONLY the 5K will count.
Every finisher will receive a finisher medal at each race. A special commemorative item will be awarded to all who complete 5 races of the Series, at the Santa’s Sleigh 5K. There are no substitute races. The Texas Heat Wave and the Boo Dash are not a part of this Series.

Join us for the 16th Annual Rudolph 5k Fun Run, Dasher 10k and Cupid 1k starting at our new location, Bendwood Park, and running through the area neighborhoods while enjoying all the Christmas Decorations. We welcome all ages and runner speeds, walkers, joggers, strollers and all those wanting to have. This year we have moved our fun run to Bendwood Park located just around the corner at 12700 Kimberly Park which offers more for the kids to do and easier parking. We will have the same route outside of a 1/2 mile, but all distances have been confirmed.
Smile for the camera as we judge to see who has the best Christmas costume and win a great gift card. Enjoy pictures with Santa Claus and special treats after the fun run including mimosas and much more. All registered athletes will receive a medal and more.
1k Cupid Run starts at 7:40am followed by the 10k Dasher Run at 8am and Rudolph 5k Run at 8:05am.

Hosted by the Texas Exes Houston Chapter, this annual event features a 10K, 5K, and Kids 1K Fun Run, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels.
More than just a race, the Lone Star Stampede is about making an impact—proceeds fund scholarships for Houston area students pursuing their dreams of higher education at The University of Texas at Austin. As a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Texas Exes Houston Chapter is committed to fostering the next generation of Longhorn leaders while strengthening the bonds of our Houston community.

This Family event. The Year Of The Goat 1K and 5K Trail Run takes place at the trails of Baytown Nature Center while enjoying the wildlife that calls this awesome park their home, after the race stay with us and enjoy all the activities this park offers like:
Bird watching, Fishing, Playgrounds, Barbeque pits, kayaking, Bike riding and kids playground and more.
Shirts and Medals will be awarded at the Finish Line once everyone completes their Run.
No package pick up before or after the race will take place.
