    Riverwalk Park (102 Riverside Drive, Columbia, TN 38401)

    5K: 8:00 a.m. | 1-Mile Trot: 9:15 a.m.

    The Mule Kick 5K is a 3.1-mile course that starts and finishes at Riverwalk Park in Columbia, while the 1-Mile Trot is a fun run—or walk!—for all ages. The 2026 race will take place on Saturday, April 11.

    The Maury Regional Health Care Foundation is proud to host this long-standing tradition in support of its mission to promote a healthier Maury County. Proceeds from the 2026 Mule Kick 5K & 1-Mile Trot will provide operational support for Maury Regional Health’s mobile unit, which delivers health care services to at-risk patients in rural and underserved areas.

    A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Foundation’s Wellness and Aquatics Center Healthy Living Endowment and the Columbia Parks & Recreation Department. In addition, the Maury County school with the highest participation in the 5K will receive a donation from the Foundation to support its physical education program.

    The Maury County Fair and the Knights of Columbus have been supporting Special needs youth and young adults for over 16 years with My Day at the Fair. The 2025 My Day Event hosted over 1,200 special needs youth and young adults along with their caregivers.

    Join us for the 2nd Annual My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot, which expands the mission of My Day and honors William “Will” Spiess who never met a stranger and believed everyone deserved a friend.

    Local Maury County non-profit organizations who will benefit from Funds raised at this event include: Kings Daughters School, Maury County Special Olympics, and Best Buddies of Tennessee.

    We care deeply about every member of our Maury County Community and hope you will support us in this new venture. We can't wait to see you there!

    Packet Pick-Up

    Friday, September 4th • Packet Pick-up and Registration

    4 to 7 p.m. at St Catherine of Siena Church (3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN 38401)

    Packet pick-up will take place on Friday afternoon and will operate as a convenient drive-through in the parking lot of St. Catherine of Siena Church.

    Packet Pick-up Tips:

    You may pick up packets for your friends or family members who have already registered; however, you will need to know their date of birth.

    Plan to register and pick up your packet before race day if possible. However, you may still register for the race at any packet pick-up time.

    If you have questions during packet pick-up or on the day of the race, please find one of the My Day 5K & 1-Mile Trot Volunteers.

    Results are live, check your time online by scanning the QR code to see if you won an award. If you did win, please see our wonderful volunteers by the Log Cabin to get your award.

    The top three male and female participants in each of the following age groups will receive a medal. Live results and awards.

    The age groups include: 9 and under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.

    1 Mile Trot Age Divisions

    The top three male and female participants in the following age groups will receive a medal. Live results and awards.

    The age groups include: 9 and under, 10-14.

    Description:

    Tennessee Children’s Home is having Spring Hill’s 9th Annual Turkey Burn, a 1K | 5K | Half Marathon event on November 28, 2026. We are very excited to fill a community need and fund-raise.

    Come enjoy a beautiful run through the hilly back roads of Maury County and Spring Hill. The race will start and finish at Spring Hill High School.

    Charity Mission:

    The money raised will support the Middle Tennessee campus of Tennessee Children's Home and the programs provided. Children and youth, who otherwise would not have opportunities to learn about Christ, have educational services, and physical necessaries. We count on people like you to help provide this safe and secure environment. We hope that you will consider making an impact in this way, and that you understand how life changing your gift will be for children and youth who will be given opportunities because of your sponsorship and donation.

    Route:

    The course will be multi-surface, gravel, asphalt, and cement. Come enjoy a beautiful run through the hilly back roads of Maury County and Spring Hill. The race will start and finish at Spring Hill High School.

    We do our best to hold our races to the highest quality standards, from start to finish, course design, accuracy, barriers, water stations and running course will be intently laid out for your safety. Safety is our main concern. Please note that although we’ll try our best to avoid it, the course and start time is subject to change.

    Pick inside: Beat the crowds by picking up your race bib, goodie bag, and shirt the day before the race. Registrants are allowed to pick up materials for friends and family members with a copy of their ID (a picture of the ID via phone is allowed).

    Rules:

    Half-Marathon has a 3.5-hour time limit. (Course support will cease after 3.5 hours)

    No dogs allowed.

    Strollers welcome for the 5K and 1K. (Please Remember this course will be multi-surface, hilly, gravel, asphalt, and cement.)

    Please note that a 15-minute mile pace or faster is required for both the 5k and Half Marathon race distances. A 15 min. mile pace is roughly four miles per hour, equivalent to a very brisk walk. If you fall below this pace, the race organizers can no longer guarantee course support. Aid Stations, medical support, portable toilets, and road closures will begin to become unavailable to participants. The local police and race organizers will ask you to reroute to a shorter version of the course or move up onto the sidewalk where you will be required to obey regular traffic laws.
