WHAT IS SIDEWALK HOPE?
Sidewalk Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to create a positive impact in the lives of children in the heart of our city and the communities in which they live through the hope of Jesus Christ. Sidewalk Hope is a mobile childrenâs church that takes church beyond the traditional four walls in a big yellow truck ~ right out to the sidewalk where children live and play in their own community!
WHAT DOES SIDEWALK HOPE DO?
Sidewalk Hope currently serves 300-350 children and teens (ages 2-17) each week through weekly visits right in their own communities. Our big yellow truck rolls out each week (year-round) to the sidewalks in four housing developments that are known to be underserved areas of concentrated poverty. We build relationships with the children and teens weekly through fun activities, singing, Bible lessons, food & snacks, and prayer time. In 2025, we were able to provide 750 backpacks full of school supplies and 750 Christmas Blessing bags filled with items such as blankets, toiletries, candy, Bibles or scripture activity books, and toys to children in need.
Throughout the year, Sidewalk Hope faithfully serves by providing weekly food bags filled with snacks and fresh fruit for the children. We offer leadership activities and field trips for teens, sponsor and send up to 25 teens to Camp Grace each summer, and provide extra food during the summer months when school meals are unavailable. Additionally, we distribute Bibles, toiletries, blankets, coats, hats, gloves, and food boxes to meet urgent needs. Sidewalk Hope is committed to meeting not only the spiritual needs of the children and teens we serve, but also their physical and emotional needs â all as a way to share the full love of Christ.
This year, Sidewalk Hope is celebrating 11 years of service to the youth in Spartanburg's community and we are preparing to expand into the Greenville area soon! By regularly meeting children where they live, personally investing in their lives, building long-term relationships, presenting the Gospel, and demonstrating the love of Christ in accessible ways, Sidewalk Hope is able to bring hope to an underserved population of children. Currently, there are no other organizations doing this type of ministry in our area.
HOW WILL THIS RACE HELP?
The proceeds from The Amazing Grace Race will directly benefit the children and teens served by Sidewalk Hope all year long. Join us for a morning of fun with your family and friends â and make a lasting impact in the lives of some truly amazing young people!
Mark your calendar and register TODAY!
While not required, we invite you to consider making a donation along with your registration. Your investment will yield a return beyond measure as we share the love of Christ with the next generation.

đ PRISONER OF WAR ULTRA
CAMP CROFT STATE PARK â SPARTANBURG, SC
"HONOR. ENDURANCE. NEVER RETREAT."
To all runners, patriots, and warriors of the trailâThis is not your average race. This is a mission. The Prisoner of War Ultra returns to the historic grounds of Camp Croft, once the proving ground for over 200,000 American soldiers during World War II. These were men forged in grit, trained for battle, and prepared to defend freedom. Now itâs your turn to step into their legacy.
This November, youâll report for duty at Croft State Park, a 7,000-acre stretch of rugged South Carolina terrain that once echoed with the cadence of marching boots and rifle fire. Today, the only sounds youâll hear are the pounding of your heart, the rhythm of your breath, andâif the wind is rightâthe distant reports from the James O. Thomason Firing Range over the ridge. A reminder that freedom is never free.
Whether you choose the 8 Mile, 25K, or the full 50K ultra distance, each loop of this course is a tribute to the resilience, sacrifice, and unbreakable spirit of our nation's warriorsâpast and present. The course winds through a figure-eight loop, challenging your body and testing your will. This is more than trail runningâitâs a tactical engagement with nature, pain, and purpose.
You won't face it alone. You'll be surrounded by a company of runners bound by grit and honor. Every step, every mile is a salute to those who gave more. The community forged on this course is strong. This is a place where strangers become teammates, and pain becomes pride.

You run this race to pay tributeâto our veterans, to the POWs, to those who came home changed, and to those who never came home at all.
You run to prove that in a world full of shortcuts and surrender, there are still those who choose the harder path.
So gear up, soldier. Lace your boots. Tighten your pack. And prepare to face the challenge with courage, humility, and heart.
This is the Prisoner of War Ultraâwhere endurance meets remembrance.
