Come join us during our 2025 Slickville Community Days celebration! The August 9th 5k race is a challenging backcountry route with several hills leading to the "coal mine climb" up the slate mound
past the famous Slickville sign that overlooks the town. The 2-mile walk is a much gentler course through town for the first half and returning to the finish on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail where you can watch the runners in their attempt to reach the summit of the race. Be sure to sign up early to guarantee receipt of an event sports shirt in your preferred size.
After completing the run/walk, all participants will be treated to a complimentary pancake breakfast with locally sourced genuine maple syrup courtesy of the Slickville Community Church and Maple Lodge.
Registration is open on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM. The run/walk begins at 8:30 AM. An awards ceremony will follow around 9:30 but feel free to stay or come back later to check out the other events including a car show, craft and food booths, children's activities, a cow patty bingo and musical entertainment throughout the day and evening. A fireworks display will take place shortly after dark.

Join us for the Third Annual Memorial 5K Charity
Event honoring Louann Burchfield and Kathy Hannan Hale benefiting cancer patient’s and their families through The Sunshine Charity. All proceeds will benefit those battling cancer and their families facing financial strains to help with co-pays, groceries, gas, travel expenses, lodging, and more.
The race will begin at Tri B’s Coffee shop located at 241 North 4th street proceeding to river avenue and old route 7 on a flat scenic route along the Ohio River and retuning to Tri B’s coffee shop where lotus drinks will be made special for this event with proceeds benefiting the Sunlight Fund. Join us for fun for the whole family. This event will include a timed 5 k run or walk and 1k kids fun run for ages 12 and under.

What is the Leisure Option?
No Pressure: This option is perfect for those who want to walk, jog, or simply enjoy the event at their own pace without worrying about time or competition.
Flexible Distance: Feel free to complete as much or as little of the course as you like. Whether you do the whole 5K or just a portion, your participation is what matters most!
Community Spirit: You’ll still receive a race bib and be part of all the festivities, including the post-race celebration. However, you won’t be eligible for timed awards, so you can focus on the fun and the cause.
We’re all here to support the fight against cancer, so no matter how you choose to participate, your involvement makes a difference. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or just enjoying a leisurely stroll, we can’t wait to see you there!

Join the South Range Cross Country program for the Run with the Raiders 5K & Kids Fun Run taking place on Saturday, August 8th, 2026.
RANGE COURSE.
The 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run begins at 6:30pm. The 5K begins at 7:00pm. Both events take place at South Range High School (Stadium).

Team Brunazzi Events LLC has a zero refund policy.
You may transfer race or distance at any time before the race. You may NOT change distances after the race has started. Please email TBE at [email protected] with your transfer request. You will have to pay any additional amounts associated with the change.
Shirt Policy (effective 01-01-2016)
Preregistered runners receive a shirt if they sign up by a specified date when the shirts are ordered. After that extra shirts are first come, first serve.
After a race, shirts of runners that did not show up will be given to those runners that signed up race day. If you want your shirt but cannot make the race, please have another runner pick yours up.
No shirts will be ordered after the race. No shirts will be mailed.

The Twins Days 5K Fun Run & Walk will take place on Sunday morning at Dodge Intermediate School, which is across the street from the festival site. Walkers and strollers are also welcome. There will
also be a kids' "fun run" of just under ¼ mile on the track. All runners registered before July 31 will be guaranteed to receive a custom event t-shirt which will be designed to match the festival theme - Totally Two-bular! Registrations after 7/31 will be subject to availability on the first come, first served basis. Light snacks and refreshments provided following the race. This event intends to promote and enjoy fitness while raising money for a worthy cause. PROCEEDS BENEFIT EMPOWER SPORTS.
Who We Run For:
Empower Sports exists to enrich the lives of athletes of diverse challenges through sports and exercise while promoting kindness, character, and tolerance. They believe that EVERY athlete should have an opportunity to participate in the games they love and that sports can be used to shatter false stereotypes of people with special needs. Empower Sports is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and exercise programs for children and adults with various physical and cognitive disabilities. Join the Crawford County Drug & Alcohol Executive Commission Inc. (CCDAEC) in a fun 5k race and 1-mile walk. This race is designed to raise funds for the annual Recovery Celebration here in
Meadville, PA in September, increasing drug overdose awareness (which Drug Overdose Awareness Day is August 31st), and recovery activities brought to you by our agency, the CCDAEC. Donations are also accepted.
Race/Walk Details
Location: Ernst Bike Trail Bean's Trailhead. 18701 Smock Hwy, Meadville, PA 16335
Race Price: Registration for the race is $25 and will increase on July 23rd (7/23/26) by $5. Race day registrations are cash only, priced at $30.
Registration: Right there in the parking lot by the Start/Finish line. It opens at 8:00am and the 5k starts at 9:00am and the 1-mile walk starts at approximately 9:15am.
Children: Children ages 10 and below will not have to register if participating along with a parent/guardian. This is unless the child wants to try to win an award for the 5k and/or a T-shirt. There have been a lot of inquiries about a children's race, as we allow children to run for free, we will not be having a separate race for children.
Course: A scenic out-n-back course over the Ernst Bike Trail.
Timing Service: Will be determined at a later date.
5k Awards: There will be an award for the top male and female. Additionally, there will be top 3 awards for each age group that are separated by 10 years (i.e., Under 19, 20-29... up to Over 70). The winners will be announced at approximately 10:00am. The awards will be locally made by The 100 Acre Wood Shop in Meadville.

Parking: The parking lot is first come, first served and staff will rope off the parking lot when full. Additional parking can be at the Plaza Mall, which one must be careful to cross the road.
Pets: The trail is pet friendly, we ask that you follow the trail rules. Keep the pet leashed at all times, clean up after ourselves, and stay on our best behavior.
Recovery Celebration: Tentatively September at the Diamond Park in Meadville PA.
Additional Details
We will be running a Drug Overdose Awareness memorial that will be transported to the Recovery Celebration! Please join in and increase awareness to help provide prevention strategies and help when needed.
We will also have free Naloxone/Narcan available for anyone who wants. If you or a loved one has difficulty with substance use issues, this is a good way to help save a life. The doses are completely free, all we ask is to use it when needed and to fill out a small questionnaire to provide statistics.

The 2025 Kinzua Bridge Challenge 10K, 5K,1 Mile, and 2 Mile Walk will be a staggered start beginning at 9:00 am on Sunday, August 11th. The races start at the Center Street Trailhead on the Mt Jewett
to Kinzua Bridge Rails to Trails. The course is out and back for each race. The proceeds benefit the Swedish Festival Association who partner with the Mount Jewett Community to host one of the largest festival in the county.
The Mount Jewett Swedish Festival Association will allocate the proceeds of the race to benefit the Penn York Oil and Gas Scholarship held at the University of Pittsburgh the Bradford Campus. This scholarship supports students in the Energy Science majors. Proceeds exceeding the scholarship donation will be distributed for the purpose of promoting economic development, education, innovation and community revitalization in and around the Mount Jewett area.

The Classic is about raising money for scholarships and celebrating the life sport of running. We strive to motivate and excite runners of all ages to lace up their shoes and go. Boys and girls will run together at 5:00 PM prior to the 5k.

This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the Mercer County Twilight QUAD. It's the oldest continuous running series in the region. Each event begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evenings in the summer
months. Over 50,000 finishers have been recorded through the first 140 events of the QUAD.
Runners who complete all four events will receive a commemorative award. Each year, over 150 runners and walkers complete all four events of the series.
