Get ready for the First Annual ALFA Kids Triathlon on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Meadville Area Recreation Complex! Designed for ages 6–13, this fun, beginner-friendly event gives kids the
chance to swim, bike, and run in a safe and supportive environment. Whether your child is trying a triathlon for the very first time or already loves being active, the ALFA Kids Tri is all about building confidence, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and celebrating every young athlete as they cross the finish line. Every participant will receive a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and the unforgettable experience of being part of Meadville’s newest youth sporting tradition!
The race will be split into two age groups (6-9 years old and 10-13 years old) with separate distances. The older group will go first. Register your child based on his/her age at the time of the race.
Ages 6–9: 50-yard swim, 2-mile bike, ½-mile run
Ages 10–13: 100-yard swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run

Registration is at the back parking lot of Linden Pointe. THERE WILL BE A PORTA JOHN NEAR REGISTRATION AND HALFWAY THRU THE COURSE.
Race starts at 9 am
AWARDS: There will be awards for your pets as
well as awards for the runners. Each pet will get a finisher award dog treat !! TOP 1 in each age group MALE AND FEMALE gets a stuffed Congratulations teddy bear . These awards are very cute !! Other awards also for the runners for 2nd and 3rd place in age groups. Prize money to the top 1 Overall male and female !!
We will provide water and food at the race. Fruit salad, cookies !!
Proceeds benefits a local animal shelter.which is very well needed.
Chip timing results so you can leave quick if wanted.We post results immediately while the race is going on and you can get your award then also.

This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the Mercer County Twilight QUAD. It's the oldest continuous running series in the region. Each event begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evenings in the summer
months. Over 50,000 finishers have been recorded through the first 149 events of the QUAD.
Runners who complete all four events will receive a commemorative award. Each year, over 150 runners and walkers complete all four events of the series.
Specialty QUAD shirts will be available for purchase on site on a first come first serve basis.

Hosted at beautiful Buhl Park, this free and inclusive event brings families, friends, and community partners together for a meaningful day focused on kindness, understanding, and inclusion.

Willy’s World was created to ensure that children with hidden disabilities are seen, supported, and empowered. Through education, community outreach, and direct family support, Willy’s World helps create environments where every child belongs.
While participation in the walk is free, we strongly encourage participants to fundraise in support of Willy’s World. Every dollar raised helps provide resources, programming, and opportunities for children and families in our community.

Fundraising is a meaningful way to support children and families impacted by hidden disabilities, and we love celebrating your impact along the way!
Participants will earn fundraising badges as milestones are reached, recognizing generosity, leadership, and commitment to inclusion.
In addition, to celebrate our fundraisers, we are excited to offer raffle incentives at select fundraising levels.
How it works:
Participants earn one raffle entry at each fundraising level reached. Fundraisers who reach higher levels will earn entries into all lower-level raffles as well.
All raffle prizes will be on display at the walk. Winners will be drawn, and prizes will be distributed on-site on the day of the event. Participants must be present to claim prizes.
Incentives are optional. All funds raised directly support Willy’s World programs for children and families navigating hidden disabilities.
Raffle entries are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Spectator Info: Be there about 10am on Sunday to hike down the trail and get a good spectator spot for a busy morning practice and race runs start at Noon. Saturday afternoon is also a great time to watch practice ending and the 4x Fun Race that kicks off at 4pm. Walk down the trail and catch a free shuttle up at the bottom when the riding stops.

The results from this race will determine 2026 USA Cycling PA State Champions for Downhill.
This race will feature 2 courses. Cat 3 & Beginners will be combined and race on their own course. This is a great first time race for Beginners with the easiest Cat 3 course we offer. Pro & Cat 1/2 Categories will race on their own course that is challenging for the most advanced riders.
Free to spectators, fun event for all ages!
Event will be run rain or shine.
Plan to pack out your own garbage and leave no trace on the property.
All riders must check-in at Event Registration before riding or racing.
This race is USA Cycling sanctioned. You can signup for a USAC license at the event or online. All race competitors must have valid USAC annual or 1-day USAC license. You can also apply your 1-day license fee towards an annual license within 12 months. USAC officials will be on hand to ensure a safe and fair event. Results from the race will be posted to USAC website directly after the race as well as Roots & Rain website and AlleghenyGnar.com
Open riders that are not racing do NOT need a USAC license.
Free overnight parking is permitted only for registered riders. No open fires are permitted.
We have race classes for all skill levels, ask us if you aren't sure what to sign up for.
Open riding passes are available for Friday and Saturday, Sunday is for registered racers only.

Additional $15 entry donation to sign-up, MUST be entered in another category first to register (Open Rider Day Pass works). Sign-up is open to anyone and classes will be created as needed to ensure fair, fun and safe competition.
DIRT ROCK N ROOT MTB CLINICS
3 Classes will be offered during the event to help riders new to mountain biking or riders who want to increase their confidence on difficult downhill trails. Space is limited and you must pre-enter. You do not need to be registered as a racer to participate in the clinic but to ride the DH courses outside of the clinic time you must also register as a racer or open rider. Meet at the start area 15 minutes before the class is scheduled to start.

HEAD COACH: Kathi Krause, a three-time Masters World Downhill Champion, is the founder and head coach of Dirt Rock n Root Training (DRRT), a mtb coaching company focused on building confidence and skills in riders of all levels. With over 35 years of racing and coaching experience, Kathi brings a supportive and down-to-earth approach to helping beginners get comfortable on technical terrain.
ASSISTANT COACHES: Angelica Pietranton & Cooper Pleva
DRRT's half-day clinics for beginners are designed to introduce new riders to the fundamentals of gravity riding in a safe, encouraging environment. With small group sizes and personalized attention, participants learn essential skills like body position, braking, line choice, and navigating obstacles—gaining the confidence to take their riding to the next level.

Luke Kauffman was our County Park Director for many years, and above that to most all he was considered a good friend and a great human being. After Luke’s untimely passing, his wife and best friend
Kara stepped up to ensure that Luke’s vision for the park would continue. Many exciting expansions and projects are possible with continued community support. Simply by signing up to have some fun with us out at the Park on July 11th , you are helping to make some big changes possible in our community. The vast majority of proceeds will be donated to Two Mile Run Park, a non-profit and public park, that serves the area by providing a respite in nature to hike, jog, fish, camp under the stars, kayak and swim in the beautiful Crosby Lake. Let’s come together, enjoy our beautiful Park, and have a great time in the process!

Description: Join us as we connect the twin cities, made possible thanks to the kindness and support of Ron & Teri
Wagler and Advanced Contracting for allowing us to include a piece of their property on our route. The course will begin in Stoneboro Park and run through bubbles as we make our way to Sandy Lake Park. Run/Walk the 5k and sign the kids up for the ½ mile kids fun run (10 & under). The kids fun run will be part of the community celebration with bubbles, dancing, and DJ JD Sounds in Sandy Lake Park immediately following the 5k! Plan your start your way: get dropped off at Stoneboro Park or catch the convenient shuttle from Sandy Lake Park to the starting line, generously provided by H&W Transportation. This event is sponsored by Lakeview XC Boosters.
Awards: Age group and overall awards for top 3 men & women in the 5k. Finisher awards for all in the ½ mile kids run.

☕️Uncloud Coffee -This business was started by members of our church, and they want to become a larger part of our area. They will be serving single-origin hot and iced coffee and single-origin iced teas!
📸 Ano & Co. Photography has been a supporter of this race since it started. They will provide professional, digital photos available for download of the start/finish, action shots of the race, the medal ceremony, and all the other fun that will be had at this event!
