Ride bikes, help local kids with cancer …
Registration for the 9th Annual Great Big Group Ride (GBGR), presented by Frank Armetta State Farm, is now open! Join us for a wonderful (but challenging) group ride that benefits local kids with cancer!
GBGR is a fun but challenging way for you to support the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV). This event features a Metric Century and a Metric Half Century. Every participant who registers by July 1st is guaranteed an event t-shirt! If you do not register by July 1st, you are not guaranteed a shirt, but we may have some available at the event.
And, new this year, all participants will receive a GBGR medal at the post-ride check-in table!!
Funds raised at Great Big Group Ride help PCFLV to support local pediatric cancer warriors and their families through financial, social and emotional support and programming.
Both the metric century and metric half century rides contain in-ride challenges, contests and prizes.
Be sure to arrive before your event's start time to enjoy free coffee and bagels and purchase raffle tickets. And stick around after you complete your ride to enjoy a gourmet cook-out generously donated by our friends at Whitehall Diner and Fitness Central.

WHAT PCFLV DOES FOR FAMILIES
"The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley is dedicated to supporting quality-of-life for children diagnosed with cancer in the Greater Lehigh Valley and their families, as well as long-term survivorship and bereavement programs. All of our programming and events are offered at no cost to these families. We believe that a pediatric cancer diagnosis affects the WHOLE family, and our mission reflects that belief. We also believe that a family's experience with childhood cancer does not end when treatment ends. Because of that, PCFLV follows a continuum of care model, hoping to be a friend to families from the date their child is diagnosed forever forward.
If you or someone you know has a child diagnosed with cancer, is a survivor of pediatric cancer, or has lost a child to cancer, we encourage you to reach out to us and allow us to be part of your journey through the programming, events, and support we offer!"

The Splash Dash kicks off an all day Celebration for America 250 in Cressona. The Splash Dash is a 2.50 mile FUN* run/walk that promises to be a fun event for all ages and abilities. You will traverse through the streets of Cressona to support our beloved town pool that needs $1.2 million dollars in repairs and upgrades before we can re-open it. Rally your friends and family and even your pets, and join folks of all ages and skill levels. We do ask that the only wheels allowed on the course, for safety, are strollers or wagons, please.
*Please note this is an un-timed event. Participants are welcome to use self-timers, if interested. We are trying to promote community spirit as we start our pool fundraising.
The action starts and ends at the town pool on Graeff Street, where plenty of parking is available. The streets of Cressona will be full of folks cheering you on too! The Cressona Band will be playing for us and celebrating with us, as we finish our FUN run/walk. You won't want to miss this event, as there will be lots more fun along the way!
Wear your best patriotic wear or even pool accessories to join in the spirit of celebrating America's 250th birthday, in Cressona. This is our first major fundraising event for the pool and we appreciate your support so very much!
Special Splash Dash T-shirts will be available for kids (ages five and above) and adults alike. Virtual participants may also select a special t-shirt! You may order a t-shirt with your race registration. The registration deadline to snag your T-shirt will be July 1st.

Infield Pit Passes
Every rider's race number will grant access to the infield.
Infield pit passes for coaches and team staff are available for purchase on BikeReg at $40 for the entire event. Upon arrival at the venue, you will receive a wristband granting access to the infield. Please be aware that infield pass registrants will undergo screening against the SafeSport Disciplinary Database, and we strongly advise ensuring your SafeSport and MAAPP certifications are up to date.
Team Tent Space
To reserve space on the infield, please contact [email protected] with your group name and the number of riders you expect to have on-site.
Infield spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. While we will do our best to accommodate specific requests, space is limited and cannot be guaranteed.
We are also working with local community members to borrow pop-up tents for traveling teams. For larger teams, we will have an overflow area outside of the facility where riders can warm up, rest, and gather between events, separate from your infield space. If your group may need overflow space, please indicate that in your email.
