Hamburg Half Marathon
The Hamburg Half Marathon is a fast run on the local favorite Schuylkill River Trail (SRT). The SRT runs along the banks of the Schuylkill River. This
course is extremally scenic and located in the historic area running in between the Blue Mountains and across the Appalachian Trail.
All runners will get a long sleeved tech shirt and free hot breakfast items after the race!
*This year we are going to be more sustainable by switching from bottles of water at the finish line to having cold ice water with reusable plastic cups that runners can use to rehydrate.

In the USA, nearly 1 in 5 girls miss school during their period, and globally, 2 in 3 girls are also missing out on important learning opportunities.

Whether you join us in person at Lloyd Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or participate virtually from anywhere in the world, your contribution will make a difference.
On Saturday, May 31^st, between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm, we will collectively run or walk a 5K wherever we are, uniting to combat period poverty.
Proceeds from your registration will directly support our efforts to increase menstrual equity and #endperiodpoverty.
As a token of our appreciation, the top three winners will receive special GrassROOTS tees, and the first-place in-person winner will also receive two tickets to the Roots Picnic.
Early registration is $20.00 until March 31st, with prices increasing thereafter. The first 50 registrants, whether for the live or virtual race, will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
