    Join us for the Finish the Race 5K & Fun Run, a community-wide event celebrating fitness, fellowship, and faith — all while supporting a great cause! Whether you’re a dedicated runner, casual walker, or bringing the family for a morning of fun, there’s something for everyone.

    This event is more than just a race — it’s an opportunity to come together, encourage one another, and help send kids to Camp Unite.

    Course Description:

    This is a trail run through a well-maintained community park in Norman, OK. The course is mostly flat with a few gentle hills and consists of grass, sidewalk, and some gravel surfaces. It’s smooth and safe for runners and walkers of all levels and is often used for local high school cross-country races.

    Awards:

    Awards will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finisher in each age division (5K only). All 5K and 1-Mile finishers will receive a finisher gift.

    Parking & Accommodations:

    Parking is available on the west side of Ruby Grant Park off of 36th Ave near Franklin Road. Restrooms are located in the main parking lot.

    Join us Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. for our fourth annual 5K and 1 mile run/walk. Trail to Recovery, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to support the recovery community in Cleveland County. Proceeds will benefit Cleveland County recovery court programs as well as other local organizations who provide substance abuse and mental health services.

    5K registration includes: a custom t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations prior to April 15, 2026), custom finisher medal, bib, timing chip.

    1 mile fun run registration includes: a custom finisher medal, bib and timing chip, t-shirts available for purchase.

    Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the top 3 finishers in each age division (5K only).

    Parking/Accommodations: Parking is available on the west side of the park off of 36th Ave near Franklin Road. Overflow parking will be at All Saints Catholic School which is just south of the park and Christ Church which is just north and across the street from the park. Parking is available on the north side of the park (Franklin Road), but not recommended because of the distance from the start/finish line. There will be volunteers at the event to help with parking and crossing 36th street (if necessary). Restrooms are located in the main parking lot.
