Join us for the 24th Anniversary of Run to the Moon and the 57th Anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing - July 18, 2026 in Wapakoneta Ohio, the boyhood home of Neil Armstrong.
2026 is the 57th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. This event starts and finishes at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta OH, the birthplace of Neil Armstrong. The race is a run/walk and has many unique features including a NASA astronaut to help start the run and high-five you as you finish, Space Facts along the courses, and much more. Don't miss out on this amazing and educational experience.
Each run has a $30 registration fee until April 30, 2026. Run fee is $35 on May 1, 2026.

RACE LOGISTICS:
FLEXIBILITY REGARDING YOUR RACE DISTANCE. You may alter your race distance yourself using the free, self-managed transfer we offer. Follow the link in your registration confirmation email to Manage Registration and transfer to a different distance event. You may shorten your race distance from the 10K to 5K to 1 Mile, and may do that yourself online and there is no change fee.

The Run to the Moon is organized by the United Way of Auglaize County. Proceeds will benefit the 2025 campaign and our partner agencies who provide programs and support to our friends, families and neighbors in need. Any donations will be directed to the United Way of Auglaize County's 2025 campaign and used in the same manner. The run is located on the grounds of the Armstrong Air and Space Museum but does not financially benefit the museum and/or its operations.

Entries will be accepted online until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23rd. Race day registrations will be accepted (without receiving a shirt).
Early packet pickup will be available Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the information kiosk downtown at Swiss Days. Race day packet pickup starts at 7 a.m. Awards will be presented to the top 10 finishers in each division. There will be an aid station along the 5K route. Post-race refreshments will be available to all participants.
You must be registered by Sunday July 20th at 11:59pm to receive a t-shirt the day of the race.

The Gauntlet Mud Run is an exciting race featuring natural terrain and military-inspired obstacles that challenge participants to work together and persevere. Competitors will face walls to climb, ropes to swing across, and mud to crawl through—the more obstacles you conquer, the muddier you get!
While the event is a fun community activity, top finishers will be rewarded. The top two male and female runners in each age group (13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69) will be recognized. The Top Overall Finisher will receive a $100 cash prize, and additional awards will go to the Largest Team, Largest School, and Fastest Team.
All registrants will receive a free drink token, a finisher's medal, and a t-shirt (if registered by July 15th).
Event Location: Chenoweth Trails, home of the Light Foundation —a nonprofit dedicated to providing youth with opportunities that inspire passion, purpose, and success. All event proceeds benefit the Light Foundation.
Race Waves: The first wave starts at 10:00 a.m., with new waves every 15 minutes. Select your preferred wave during online registration. Participants should arrive 1 hour prior to their wave for warm-up and check-in. Be at the start line 15 minutes before your wave.
Kids Race: The Kids Race (ages 5-12) starts at 12:00 p.m. sharp! Any registered adult can join at no extra charge. Parents must be registered participants to run with their children. It's a great family-friendly event!

Parking: Parking is close to registration and FREE.
Bag Check: Bag check is located at registration. It closes at 12:00 pm or when the last adult wave is back from the course. It is FREE!

Water Stations: There will be two water stations: one midway and one at the finish line.
Kids Zone: A fun area for children, featuring bouncy houses, games, face painting, and more, run by volunteers.
Food, Drink, & Beer Tent: After the race, enjoy an ice-cold beer, food, and entertainment. All participants get one free beer token with registration. Additional beer and food will be available for purchase (cash only). No outside food or drinks are allowed. Please bring a valid photo ID to consume alcohol. DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE.
Spectators Welcome: Family and friends are encouraged to come cheer on participants! There will be designated areas along the course for viewing.

Safety Rules:
Course Hazards: The Gauntlet Mud Run is designed to challenge participants. Only attempt obstacles you’re comfortable with. Notify a race official if you’re injured or unsafe.
Waiver: By registering, you agree to the Chenoweth Trails waiver and acknowledge the risks of participating.
Eligibility: Participants must be physically able to complete the course. No one under 12 is allowed on the main course (kids may participate in the Kids Course at noon).
Race Bibs: Participants must wear their race bib facing forward.
Photographers: The Light Foundation may use event photos and video footage for promotional purposes.
Prohibited Items: No animals, strollers, joggers, bicycles, or recreational vehicles on the course.
Disqualification: Disrespecting race officials, unsportsmanlike conduct, or cheating will lead to disqualification.
Medical Assistance: Medical personnel have the authority to remove participants from the event if needed.
Alcohol Restrictions: No outside alcohol is allowed. Beer will be sold on-site for those 21+.
Spectator Restrictions: Spectators may only be in designated areas; non-participants cannot enter the race course.

Join Darke County Parks for our 5th annual Tour de Darke!
Spend your Sunday morning in the saddle on a leisurely ride through the scenic countryside and quaint communities of Darke County. This event is not a race, and instead a tour of the sites. There are six scenic routes to appeal to all cyclists - Mini (14 miles), Bambino (25 miles), Medio (40 miles), Gran (65 miles), Gran Max (83 miles), Ultima (100 miles). All routes begin and end at the Bish Discovery Center (404 N. Ohio St., Greenville OH 45331)
In order to ensure proper support from our volunteers, we ask all cyclists to begin their ride as listed below.
~~ Mini - start at 8am; no later than 9am
~~ Bambino/Medio - start at 7am; no later than 8:30am
~~ Gran- start at 7am; no later than 7:30am
~~ Gran Max- start at 6:45am; no later than 7am
~~ Ultima - start at 6:45am; no later than 7am
Cyclists are encouraged to finish their selected course by 2pm - please adjust your departure time as needed. Thank you.

Hang out around the area, discuss desired ride speeds, and let cycling magic happen! While we can't guarantee a group pace that fits your needs, we are asking our awesome riders to consider letting others join you for that peloton group ride effect and fun! Please note, LFG riders will plan on leaving within 5-10mins of the set start time for each route... please be prompt.

DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 75 north & south, get off on exit 74, which is St Rt 41, in Troy. Go west, out of Troy, to Covington. 41 stops at State Route 48. Go north on SR 48 through & out of town, & SR 185 is a few miles out of town. Go west & Stillwater Prairie is a couple of miles down the road on the left. There are signs.
PARKING: After entering the Park Entrance, take the first left toward the Big Bluestem Shelter. Big Bluestem Shelter can be found on the right side of this MAP.
WATER: It is recommended that you carry it with you! There will be an unmanned water station about two miles into each loop. Because this is a 2 loop course, participants do have the option to set up their own personal mini-aid station along the course to grab a bottle of water, nutrition, etc. before starting their 2nd loop. If you do this, make sure that you mark/identify your stuff so that it is easily recognized as yours!
COURSE: The course consists of 2 loops of 3.6 miles. 75% dirt or mulched trails, 10% gravel, 15% meadow with multiple river crossings of the Stillwater River (about mid-calf). Flush toilets are available at the start/finish.
REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race. Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race. Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.
CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip.
We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up prior to the race start.

Non-Members:
– $10 for ages 15 and up
– Free for ages 14 and under

First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (40 and over), First Grand Master Male/Female (50 and over), First Male/Female Senior (60 and over) – All participants will receive a finisher’s award upon completing the course, so make sure that you enjoy the beautiful venue and the journey on the trails!
ANIMAL POLICY: Due to our insurance coverage, animals are not permitted at any ORRRC event. The only exception is service dogs, which must be clearly identified. Persons with any other animals will be removed from the event (will not be issued a timing chip, and will not appear in results or photos). We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Race: Hero Harvest is sponsored by Operation Veteran and Caregiver support. All proceeds from the race help programs offered by Operation Veteran and Caregiver support to connect, empower and transform the lives of all veterans, families, widows and active duty in all branches.

Course: The course runs from Lock 9 south along the Great Miami River Trail. The course will be marked and a water station located at the half-way mark.

Awards: Top Male/Female overall and Male/Female top three (3) finishers in each age division.

Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026 as we host our sixth annual Harvest 5K at The Way International Headquarters in New Knoxville, Ohio.
Move your body and breathe the fresh, crisp, fall air as you walk or run the 5K. In the evening, enjoy a Harvest Concert that is sure to uplift and encourage you with family-friendly entertainment in celebration of God’s abundance.
Guests are welcome to participate in both the 5K and concert or just one of the events. To run or walk the 5K requires registration; however, the concert is open and free for everyone. Bring your family and friends along too! Then on Sunday morning, join us for our Sunday Teaching Service at The Word Over the World Auditorium.
Harvest 5K Information:
Register by September 24 to be guaranteed to receive a commemorative mug with purchase.
Cash prizes will be given to the top male and female finishers.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group (men and women):
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Registration - Free
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each child who participates will receive a medal as well as other fun gifts for their participation.
50-Yard Dash for 3- to 7-year-olds begins at 1:00 p.m.; Quarter-Mile Fun Run for 8- to 11-year-olds will begin soon after.

Concert Information:
All are welcome to enjoy a free family-friendly concert in the evening.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
Food Information:
What's a harvest event without hot chocolate and apple cider? There will be plenty of both to refresh and warm you throughout the event. There will also be water and light post-race snacks for participants.
