The Harrigan's 5k is a St Patrick's Tradition and fundraiser for several local charities.
Not only is this a fun race, but proceeds go to good causes as well. Proceeds of this race benefit Alzheimer's Association, Breakthrough T1D, United Rehab Services of Greater Dayton and South Community Behavioral Health.
ONLINE REGISTRATION will remain open through the race start on March 7! Entry fee is $40 thru race start. Shirts are only guaranteed with entries received by Feb 28.
PACKET PICKUP will be at Up and Running Friday, March 6 from 4pm to 6pm. You can also pickup your packet at Harrigan's on race morning.

RACE START: 9:00 a.m.
PARKING: Primary parking will be at Iron Horse Park, there’s a good amount of spots. Overflow can be on the surrounding streets (Millshire, Clintshire, Heathshire). Legal street parking only, please. (no blocking driveways or roads).
COURSE INFORMATION:
The course will be slightly different this year. Like last year we will start at the shelter house, heading out on the field path, then out into the neighborhood. We will go out and loop around the Hidden Hills pond. Then back up towards the park. Then south on the bike trail, turning back to the park, finishing with a loop in the field like last year. Course will be very well marked with course marshals at all major intersections.
No dogs allowed on course for legal reasons. Thank you.
REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race. Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race. Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.
CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip.
We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up prior to the race start.
FEES:
All Current ORRRC Members Run for Free (Fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used, or bring your card/proof of membership to the event)
Non-Members:
– $10 for ages 15 and up
– Free for ages 14 and under
Members, if you don't register through RunSignup, you absolutely MUST show proof of membership on race day to be eligible for the member fees! No exceptions!

WHAT:
Kettering Health and the Kettering Health Young Professionals (KHYP) invite you to the 15th Annual Spring Into Health 5K Run/Walk, benefiting Good Neighbor House. This 5K is a fundraiser supporting Good Neighbor House, a Dayton-based nonprofit that has served individuals and families for over 30 years. Their mission is to build healthier communities by meeting physical, emotional, and social needs, especially for underserved and uninsured neighbors. Funds raised help support medical, dental, vision, and mental health care, as well as food and basic needs assistance.
Register by April 7 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
All race finishers will be entered in a drawing for a door prize!
PRE-PACKET PICKUP:

Join us as we run it back to the 80’s for Strides for Life 5K’s 10th anniversary! Strides for Life aims to strengthen support, education and recognition of organ, eye and tissue donation in west central Ohio. We aim to stomp out the waiting list one stride at a time, and we honor those who gave the gift of life every step of the way.
The event, hosted by Life Connection of Ohio, Solvita and Lions Eye Bank of West Central Ohio, will feature an in-person 5K run/walk, a virtual 5K run/walk and a Kids' Fun Run.
Awards: Overall male and female plus the top 3 males/females in each category: 9 and under, 10-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
This year’s 5K giveaways are a Port & Co. Crystal Tie-Dye T-shirt, fanny pack and finisher dog tag. There will also be a giveaway for the Kids' Fun Run.
Packet pickup will be Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, from 10 AM – 2 PM and 4 PM – 7 PM at Life Connection of Ohio (2800 Donation Circle, Kettering, OH 45420).

Let’s hear it for the band!!
You are cordially invited to the Kettering Fairmont Band Boosters 2nd Annual Band on the Run 5k Walk/Run event that aims at promoting fitness, community engagement, school spirit, but most of all….FUN!
Join us on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Kettering Fairmont High School located at 3301 Shroyer Road. Kettering, Ohio. Feel free to march, walk, run, jog or even skip through the 5k course set up on the grounds of Kettering Fairmont High School. The race is set to begin at 10 a.m. from door 2 (near the main entrance of the high school). The cost is $40 for participants 12 & up; $30 for kids under 12. Your registration includes a BOTR participant t-shirt if registered by May 13. If you don't care for a shirt, pick the no shirt option and save $10. (On site registration will be available on day of event. Limited t-shirts will also be available for purchase).

This is a “fun”draising event created to support over 800 students participating in the bands (concert, marching, jazz, athletic, indoor percussion, symphonic & wind symphony) and color guard programs at Kettering schools in grades 6-12. Because financial support is vital, all funds raised will help with instrument & uniform maintenance & repair, music & show development, band camp, travel expenses and much more.
Become a part of a great event with an even greater cause…celebrating and assisting the talented, dedicated and hardworking band and color guard members. There will be raffle baskets, door prizes, vendors, food trucks and novelty treats available—something for everyone to enjoy!

What: Kid’s Triathlon– swim, bike, and run, in that order
Packet Pickup: Up and Running 6123 Far Hills on June 27th, 2-4pm.
Times: The event will start in heats based on age. 5-6 years of age will start first at 8am but all participants should be at the event and ready to go by 8:00am.
Race day registration will be available beginning at 6:30am.
Triathlon and Distances: (1k = .6 mile)
Ages 5-6: 50-meter swim, 2k bike and .5k run
Ages 7-10: 100-meter swim, 4k bike and 1k run
Ages 11-14: 200-meter swim, 8k bike and 2k run
Entry Fee: $20 includes t-shirt, finisher’s medal, goggles and a chance to win great door prizes. Price increases to $25 after June 22. Race day registration is $30. Any additional siblings receive $5 off.
There are no refunds and there is no rain date.

This fun low-key event is not your everyday ORRRC race. The Gift Exchange 5k is a fun way to celebrate the holidays through running. Instead of an entry fee, all participants are to bring a wrapped gift (valued around $10). At the end of the race, we will have a giant gift exchange (hence the name of the race) among all participants.
RACE START: 10:00 a.m.
LOCATION: Kettering Recreation Complex, 2900 Glengarry Drive, Kettering, OH 45420.
