On Saturday, March 21st, 2026, Fremont Elite Runners Club will once again host “Melt the Ice 5K” run/walk. This race will help motivate all levels of runners/walkers to stay active through the winter months.

Start and Finish at the Strand Theater

• All proceeds will be donated to the Fremont Exchange Club

• Mail-in Registration Fee: $25 by March 6 th, 2026 (Race shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants.)

• Online Registration Fee: $25 by March 15 th, 2026 (Race shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants.)

• Race Day Registration Fee: $30 (Not guaranteed - Limited shirts) 2xl add $2

• Race day registration will begin at 8:30 AM until 15 minutes before the start of the race.

• Awards: Overall male and female finishers, and the top three finishers in the following age categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 -74, 75 and Over.

• Start and finish outside the Strand Theater 220 S. Front Street Fremont, OH 43420.

• Race will be held rain or shine. No refunds. We reserve the right to cancel if deemed unsafe to proceed due to weather or unforeseen emergencies or circumstances.

The Fremont Elite Runners Club is once again proud to sponsor one of the area’s finest road races! The 47th Annual Camelback Run will once again feature a challenging 10K race as well as a 5K race and 2K and ¼ Mile Youth Races

Highlights

• Awards to the Overall Male & Female runners, Overall Masters plus Grand Masters for the 10K and 5K, and Top 3 runners in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 -74, 75 and over.

• Shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. Race shirts only available while they last on the day of the event. (Adult sizes only for 10K and 5K) Adult 2Xl Shirt Add $2.

• Youth 2K (ages 12 and under) and Camel Calves 1/4 Mile (ages 7 and under)- includes Youth size soft t-shirt only to participants pre-registered by 6/7/26. Awards are given to the Top Male and Female Finishers in the 2k. Finishers awards to all other kids event participants!

• Mail In Registration Fee $30 until 5/30/26. Online Registration Fee $30 until 6/7/26. Adult 2XL Shirt Add $2. Youth 2k $10 and Youth 1/4 calves $5

• Race Day Registration begins at 6:30a.m. at St. Joseph Bishop Hoffman High School and closes at 7:45 a.m. Race Day Fee $35 for both the 5k and 10k.
