🏁 Wiener Dog Olympics – How It Works

The Wiener Dog Olympics return to the Columbus Pet Expo with more races, more chaos, and more adorable champions than ever. Each day features multiple preliminary heats that lead into one or two high‑energy Final Races in the main arena.

    🎬 Daily Race Format

    Friday & Saturday

Two separate race blocks each day

Each block includes three preliminary heats

The top two dogs from each heat advance to that block’s Daily Final

    Evening Final

    Sunday

One race block with three preliminary heats

The top two dogs from each heat advance to the Sunday Afternoon Final

If a heat winner cannot return for the Final, The runner‑up from that heat automatically takes their place.
