Join us for a 5k Run/ Walk starting at Spiegel Grove on Saturday February 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Mail in Registration $25 by January 30 th , 2026 ( Race shirts guaranteed to pre registered participants) Online Registration fee $25 by February 8 th, 2026 ( Race shirts guaranteed to pre registered participants). Race Day Registration: Begins at 9:00 a.m.inside the Museum and continues until 15 minutes prior to start of race. Race Day Registration fee: $30 ( race shirts not guaranteed) Additional $2 fee for sized 2xl shirts. Awards: Awards to OVERALL MALE,/FEMALE FINISHER. And the BEST COSTUME. First 100 registered runners will receive a special gift. COURSE:. Accurate out and back 5k course ( former Jingle Bell Run). Discount museum / House tour tickets available online or in person race day with a special code.

This 5k is part of my Eagle Scout Project to collect the critical resources that The Cocoon uses daily. the race is the final part to our 5 day collection. The hope is that people who race will donate come to one of the four initial collection days or donate on race day. the things we are looking for are toiletries, nonperishable foods, bedding, and daily need items. for an extensive lists you can check The Cocoons wish list or click this link https://thecocoon.org/in-kind-donations/.

The annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K and Dog Walk returns April 11th, 2026. The race begins and ends at the BGSU Student Recreation Center. Packet pickup will start at 9:00 am, 5K begins at 10:00 am and the dog walk will begin at 10:15 am.

It is $15 for BGSU students and $20 for all others. Registration is required. All proceeds benefit the BGSU Survivor Fund and The Cocoon.

There will also be prizes in various age and competitive categories. Come show your support and get moving!

Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities Levy Committee is excited to announce its CommUNITY Run, Walk, and Roll 5K event at Wood County Fairgrounds! This run is a fundraiser and ALL funds will go to the WCBDD Levy Committee. We encourage ALL to come out and run, walk, or roll the 3.1 mile course throughout Wood County Fairgrounds! Early bird registration is $20 and must be received before May 11th. Entries received after May 11th will be $25. Deadline to register for race is May 20st to ensure you get a t-shirt.

DETAILS:

• Registration will begin at 9AM, Race will start at 10AM.

• A post-race snack and water will be available!

Ride 2 of 3 in the Wheelie Good Cause series.

• 2 route options:

1. An easy, 8 mile ride through Bowling Green, suitable for most ability levels.

2. 20 mile route into the Portage area with a little more open country scenery... Riders looking for more of a workout who are comfortable on open roads should consider this option.

• Please note: this is an unsupported ride. The route will, at times, be on open roads with automobile traffic. Helmets are required and participants are expected to follow the rules of the road at all times.

• A nice, cold beverage from the brewery is included upon your return! For those under the age of 21, a non alcoholic beverage will be included. Please bring ID for ride check in.

• This ride supports the mission of The Wheelie Good Cause by funding life changing cancer research and treatment initiatives.
