Course: Climb 3,500 feet up scenic Whiteface Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway to the top of New York’s 5th highest peak for a 360° panoramic view of the Adirondacks, New England and Canada.
Race
fee includes finishers medal, and t-shirt.
Participants registered by May 1st will be receive our Race Shirt.
This year's race starts in the center of Wilmington at the Whiteface Visitors Bureau 5753 NYS Rt 86, Wilmington promptly at 5:30pm. Staging will start at 4:45pm.
Packet pickup and parking is located at the Whiteface Visitors Bureau. 5753 Rte 86. Additional information will be sent the week of the race. Additional parking is available across the street from Preston Field.

Please note, special "spectator passes" will be sold to those wishing to go to the top to cheer on the participants. Passes must be bought with cash at packet pickup and all cars MUST be up the mountain before the race begins.

Known as the most spectacular ride in the Adirondacks, Ride for the River has been supporting the conservation work of the Ausable Freshwater Center since 2011.
For over a decade, Ride for the River
has been a do-not-miss celebration of the stunning Ausable River watershed. Featuring multiple breathtaking route options, the event also hosts a 20-mile "tailgater" group ride on July 11 for those who'd like to come into town a day or two early to make it a weekend.

This fun annual fundraiser directly supports the important work of the nonprofit Ausable Freshwater Center to protect the clean waters, healthy streams, biodiverse habitats, and scenic beauty of the Ausable River watershed.
