We are very excited to be offering skills clinics as part of the weekend activities.
A portion of the registration fees will go towards trail maintenance and development.

spots are limited to ensure quality instruction and safety.
A helmet is mandatory. Kneepads are HIGHLY recommended. Elbow pads and other body armor is it the discretion of the rider
Please dress appropriately for the conditions and make sure your bike is in proper working order

Join us on Sunday, September 21st, at 9:30 AM for our 5th annual 5K. This scenic forest run takes place Dolgeville, on the "Greenway Trail". Participants get a FREE race tee if signed up before the deadline on September 10th. After the race, enjoy free refreshments and goodies provided by generous local vendors.
ALL money raised helps provide local youth with FREE sports equipment, to encourage participation in youth sports, and help alleviate family cost. Help us keep kids in sports!

Before you sit down to plates full of turkey and stuffing, come out to the Little Falls Turkey Trot! The course is a challenging 5k by our wonderful Moreland Park and charming downtown. Brought to you by Rock City Runners and the Youth and Family Center. $28 registration, children under 16 run for $5. This race is limited to 160 participants. It is common for this race to sell out! If the race does sell out, there will be a waitlist. THERE IS NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION.

All profits from the race proceeds will be donated to the Little Falls Food Pantry. You will also have the opportunity to make an additional donation to the Food Pantry during the online registration process. This race is fun and supports a great cause!
For the 2026 race:
-Every runner will receive a finishers medal.
-The registration cap will be increased to 160 (this race usually sells out).
-Every runner will receive some swag (item TBD), regardless of when you sign up.
Registration/Packet pickup will be from 4:00PM - 6:00PM on 11/25 and 7:30AM - 8:15AM on the day of the race. Packets can be picked up in the gym of the Little Falls Youth and Family Center (formerly the YMCA). Online registration will close at 10pm on November 25. There is NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.
Join us for the return of our 5K fundraiser. Proceeds go to benefit the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department.
Wilcox Wild Ultra 50K 2026 This 50K rugged trail run through the Adirondack Park Wilderness area will begin September 6, 2026 @ 6:30 am and end at 5:00 pm the same day. It is on beautiful trails, deep in the heart of the Wilcox Lake Wild Forest. There will be 3 fully-stocked aid stations, miles 11.5, 23, and 26 miles. There are lots of opportunities to filter water on this trail. Run takes you from Harrisburg Lake to Hope Falls via the East Stony Creek Trail, then to the Murphy Trail, to Willis Lake, out to Wilcox Lake, then back to Harrisburg Lake. Previous Experience Required DUE TO THE CHALLENGING LOGISTICS OF THIS EVENT, WE WILL BE ASKING ALL PARTICIPANTS TO PROVIDE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST SO THAT YOUR INFORMATION CAN BE REVIEWED. YOU WILL THEN BE ADDED FROM THE WAIT LIST AFTER REVIEW. WE ARE ALSO EXPECTING RUNNERS TO COMPLETE THIS RACE IN UNDER 10 HOURS 30 MINUTES. This will be the 20th Perennial Landis 5k Forest Run!

The Landis Arboretum 5K Forest run is a rolling cross country run through the Arboretum’s forests and meadows. This scenic course offers some spectacular views of the Schoharie Valley. Afterwards, you can stay to enjoy the many trails and gardens and wildlife in the arboretum. This year's race is part of the USATF Trail Series!
