Join us for a historic 10K Road Race along the Oswego River starting in Phoenix NY. This course will quickly become one of your favorites. This race had a huge following in the mid 80's through early
90's, and we'll stick with the original course. It's flat, fast, and beautiful as it parallels the Oswego River for the entire loop course. You'll start at Lock Island Park and immediately cross the Oswego River on the Phoenix Bridge. You'll then run north along the river on Pendergast Road, glimpsing the river between open fields, woods, and homes along the way. At the half way point you'll turn right to make a second crossing of the river at the single lane Hinmansville Bridge built in 1915. A short jaunt through the woods on a packed dirt road will connect you to River Road to run back into the village of Phoenix and a finish at Lock 1. This would be a great prep race for your fall half marathon or marathon!
Funds raised will go toward supporting the Schroeppel Historical Society.
Less than a week remains for your chance to win a Nathan Zipster Max Running Belt. Size: Unisex Small. Register by 11:59 PM on March 16th for your chance to win. The lucky runner will be announced on St. Patrick's Day!
Earlybird registration just $40 through April 14, 2026! Race fee will increase to $50 on April 15th, and $60 two weeks prior to the race. Sign up now and save!

A new race presented by Miles & Macros:
Which way you start your loop will depend on your bib number and a coin toss. Once you complete the loop and are back at the aid station, you will go out the way you just came in and complete your next loop the opposite way.
This ensures safety and camaraderie. This also adds a different kind of challenge.
How many loops can you get in in 3 hours?!!?

We decided to pull The Forge Gravel Grinder from the complexities of the Old Forge Marathon Weekend and will now offer The Forge GG as a stand alone event on Saturday August 22, 2026. Just one
course, 26.2 miles so hopefully there will be no confusion with course signage/direction. That's the plan anyway!
For 2026 the Start and Finish will be at the George T. Hiltebrandt Rec Center @ 225 North Street, Old Forge, NY 13420. There will not be a pre-race parade through Town.
Forging takes a mighty hammer and for riders who complete the 26.2 Mile event under 1 hour 42 minutes (102 minutes total)and under 1 hour 50 minutes (110 minutes) for Female riders. , you're earning the custom hammer! You smashed it and this hammer will be one of your most unique pieces among other trophies and medals! Hop up on your gravel, cx, 29er hardtail, full squisher or fatbike. Keep your eyes up, get that tire pressure not too soft-not too hard.
Important: The surface of the course has a lot of loose rock around the size of a cue ball to baseball size. On your cx/gravel bike, go with robust casing and wider the better. It's all good if you show up with 35mm, but please be super careful at speed while descending to avoid punctures. Front suspension crowd won't have this concern but gravel bikes, please bring tube(or 2) and co2's to address punctures. Support is in the form of water and a sag. No mechanical support on course.
The surface and elevation gain will be in the spirit of true Gravel Grit and you're invited to ride as competitively or as comfortably as you like. There are several short watts buster inclines which present the challenge of a clean line rather than burning a match. Recommended low gearing minimum 34/30(1 to 1 for a very short period isn't a bad idea) for a lightly supported grinder from Thendara to nearing Big Moose and back.
The Gravel Grinder will be a timed event with overall winners (Male/Female/Masters Male/Female) 1st-3rd. If we end up with 10 or more Fat Bikes we will also award this Division. The 26.2M race start and finish at the George T. Hiltebrandt Rec Center @ 201 North St., Old Forge, NY. We will not parade through Town as we have done years past when the event was held in early September.

The rugged trail race you know and love is back for its 14th year in 2026! Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K or 50K option. All courses are technical trails through a beautiful old-growth forest
with spectacular scenery.
The 5K will feature a course that is almost entirely on trail. The 10K course includes a flat, fast section to feature the beautiful Wetlands trail as you run past fields and streams. Don't worry, you'll still get your 3 steep climbs, technical descents and stunning sights.
For those who really want a challenge, register for the 50K. This gnarly and beautiful course will be 5 loops on the 10K course, totaling 7,000+ feet of elevation gain. Want to read more about the 50K (or any of the races, really)? Check out this review by Inaugural Overall Winner Cole Crosby!
All three courses will throw a little bit of everything at you: steep climbs, fast runnable single track, and technical descents. This event is true PA trail running.
This race is to benefit the Friends of Salt Springs Park, which is an entirely volunteer-run entity (the only State Park run by volunteers in PA!), to help maintain and conserve the beautiful trails we get to spend the day on. Consider adding a donation!
Stick around after your race to enjoy food, beverages and camaraderie. More details to come.
All races will be chip timed by Falcon Race Timing.
Deadline to order a race shirt is TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026. Limited sizes may be available for purchase the day of.

On 9/3/2020, the Annal family was in a tragic car crash on the NYS Thruway. Their daughters, Maryella, 11, and Elizabeth, age 9, did not survive the accident. This event is to honor the girls and
their “Angel birthdays” and bring the community that loves them together to celebrate their lives. All proceeds from the event will be shared with several community not for profits and Annal’s Angels, for the benefit of the Central New York community with a focus on literacy. Last year, donations were shared with The Baldwinsville Christmas Bureau, Friends Forever Animal Rescue, and the Baldwinsville Public Library. Past projects include the renovation of the Baldwinsville Public Library children’s room establishing the “Maryella & Elizabeth’s Children’s Corner” and fully funding endowment scholarships in each of the girl’s names.
The 5K will be at Palmer Elementary in Baldwinsville 7864 Hicks Road, Baldwinsville

Welcome to the Crosswinds Run Series! Join us in Canandaigua for a late-summer tradition that’s been bringing runners, walkers, families and the community together for over 23 years. Formerly known
as the Crosswinds 5K, the Crosswinds Run Series now offers multiple race-day options designed for all ages and abilities; whether you’re chasing a PR, enjoying a scenic walk or supporting a great local cause.
5K Run/Walk
Our iconic, USA Track & Field-certified course is as fun as it is challenging, perfect for walkers, first-time racers and competitive runners alike. You’ll enjoy an exhilarating downhill first mile through the City of Canandaigua, followed by the well-known climb up West Lake Road, and finish strong on the rolling hills of Ferris Hills.
10K Run
Introduced to the series last year and back by popular demand, the 10K builds on the tradition of the 5K’s hills with a longer, more demanding route for seasoned runners looking for a rewarding challenge. This USATF-certified course has a 90-minute time limit, after which roads will reopen to traffic.
Kids Fun Run
A half-mile course entirely on the event campus, perfect for young runners (preschool through 5th grade). It’s a safe, energetic, and memorable way for kids to experience race day. Every child receives:
Race t-shirt
Finisher’s medal
Access to a fun post-race snack table
More Than a Race
The Crosswinds Run Series is more than a finish line, it’s a movement with a mission. All proceeds benefit The Spot, a local organization providing free school supplies, clothing, food and shoes to students in need across the Canandaigua and Victor School districts. Thanks to runners, walkers, volunteers and business sponsors, last year’s event raised $13,400 for The Spot. With the continued growth of the Run Series, our goal is simple: make an even bigger impact in 2026.
Are You Ready to Commit?
Whether you’re here to tackle the hills, cheer from the sidelines, or support local kids in a meaningful way, the Crosswinds Run Series offers something for everyone.
Join us and be part of a tradition that truly gives back!
