3 running and walking events in Town of Queensbury, New York

Join us for an epic 7.8 mile loop of picturesque Lake Waramaug - this annual winter tradition attracts hundreds of area runners. Powered by a team of more than 75 volunteers, we're committed to delivering a fantastic experience for all participants and to raising both awareness and money for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We've donated over $45,000 to date and we're running towards our next milestone of surpassing $100,000 in total donations.

Join Glens Falls Rotary on Saturday, April 18 at 9:30 AM for the Glens Falls Rotary Harrison Freer Community 5K Run/Walk at SUNY Adirondack.

The race will start/finish at Student Center. This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities.

Registration Information:

Online registration remains open until Thursday, April 16 at midnight

Race day registration and packet pickup will take place in the SUNY Adirondack Student Center from 8:00–9:15 AM

Youth discount: $10 discount for participants 12 and under (applied at registration)

Shirts & Amenities

T-shirts guaranteed until March 24.

Post-race celebration and refreshments will be available following the event.

Awards

Age group awards will be presented at the finish line

Team awards will be presented in the Student Center immediately after finish

Run for the Ages 5k is a fundraiser for community programs that benefit individuals our local kids and seniors. All proceeds from the race will go to Big, Brothers, Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks and the Glens Falls Senior Center. Please join us for a great event that gives back to our community!
