Please join us at beautiful Timber Creek Park for a 5k and Fun Run/Walk to benefit two great cat rescues. All proceeds from this race go to For Kitty's Sake and Village Trappers. The race takes place on mostly paved surfaces with a little bit of trails.

Join us for the Our 5k event and help stray cats in South Jersey find a better future! We’re raising funds for medical treatments that will prepare these cats for adoption or support our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts. Your donations will provide vaccinations, spaying, neutering, and treatment for injuries or illnesses, giving these cats a chance to live healthier lives.

By participating in our 5k, you’re making a direct impact—whether you run, donate, or volunteer. Every step you take helps us reduce the stray cat population and gives these animals a brighter future. Together, we can make a real difference, one paw at a time!

2026 Registration will open in late fall 2025

The Gloucester Township Day Scholarship Committee invites you to run with us in the 29th Annual Gloucester Township Scholarship 5K Run and One Mile Walk on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Proceeds from the event fund college scholarships for high school students residing in Gloucester Township.

The One Mile Walk/Run will begin at 8:30 am.

The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 am.

Runners and Walkers check in starts at 8:00 am.

Race shirts guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.

Registration Fees – 5K Run/Walk- $25 One Mile Walk -$10

Late Registration – Race Day – 5K Run/Walk - $30

Gloucester Township Municipal Complex – 1261 Chews Landing Road, Gloucester Township, NJ

What is the course?

5K Course starts approximately 200 yards from the Senior Center on Chews Landing Road and loops through Police patrolled streets ending in the Municipal Complex parking lot.

One Mile Walk - two loops around the Veteran’s Park track, with two small loops within the two loops.

Is there race day registration?

Race day registration is available from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.

Will I receive a shirt?

Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.

How is the race timed?

Linmark Sports is authorized timing company that has timed our race for the last 28 years.

How will I get my results?

Linmark will post results immediately as participants cross the finish line. Results will also be available online later that day.

What are the race categories?

Awards will be presented to First Male Overall, First Female Overall, First Gloucester Twp. Resident Finisher, First Parent & Child Duo Finishers

Is the race children and stroller friendly?

Yes. Those pushing strollers are asked to start in the back.

Is race registration refundable?

Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. This is a rain or shine event.

Where do I get my bib and race shirt?

You can pick up your bib and race shirt on race day, starting at 8:00 am, in the Senior Center At The Gloucester Township Municipal Complex - 1261 Chews Landing Road, Gloucester Township, NJ

Is there food?

We have a bountiful-race spread for our runners and walkers.

Where are your restrooms?

We have indoor facilities! No need to worry about smelly portable restrooms.
