The Coös Cycling Club is excited to offer a full week of mountain bike programming for youth ages 10-14 on the Coös Trails network in Gorham, New Hampshire. Each day, qualified coaches will lead fun
forward rides while providing instruction to improve bike handling skills while having a blast on the Coos Trails network. We will meet each morning at 9:00 am at Moose Brook State Park and hit the trails. The group will return for lunch before heading out for an afternoon adventure and returning to wrap the day at 3 pm. While the week will include other activities, including swimming, learning about basic bike maintenance and even tackling a trail maintenance project, this will be an intensive week of riding. Participants should have prior experience on single track trail and be able to ride a minimum of 10 miles/day.
Cost: Thanks to generous grants from the Northern Forest Center, this program is being offered at a reduced cost of $50 for residents of Coös County NH, and $250 for the week for children from outside Coös County. Additional financial assistance and loaner bikes from the Pete’s Bikes Program available at no cost.
