Family friendly, recreational ride on the beautiful, shady Tanglefoot Trail® in northeast Mississippi.
Ride for the Light is an annual bike ride dedicated to raising funds for initiatives such as clean water projects in Africa and humanitarian efforts worldwide.
Participants may choose the distance best suited for their ability:

Pontotoc to Houston and back (50 miles)

Pontotoc to Houlka and back (approx. 30 miles)

Pontotoc to Algoma and back (approx. 10 miles)
Youth Ride Pass: Making it fun for the whole family? This ½ price Ride Pass is made just for your young riders ages 8-17.
Ride Along: Bringing a little one along? Kids ages 0-7 ride FREE with a paying adult.
Participants will receive an event t-shirt (guaranteed to those registered by May 18), and finisher medals for all who complete the event. A light lunch will be provided at the Gateway beginning at 11:30AM.

Benefitting the Beautiful Tanglefoot Trail!
Event: Enjoy the beautiful Tanglefoot Trail® and experience the scenic woods and countryside of North Mississippi. New date - October weather should be cooler! Also, neither Mississippi State or Ole Miss has a home football game on October 10th.
Distances and description: Metric Century (100k, 62 miles), Half Metric Century (50k, 31 miles), 20 miles, and 10k (6.2 miles) - something for everyone! The Metric Century and Half Metric Century will once again offer two different courses - one that is mostly flat with gentle slopes and one with several challenging hills. Have it your way - hills or no hills! All courses are well marked and patrolled by volunteers to assist with any needs that may arise. The courses will also have aid stations stocked with water and snacks. All riders must wear a helmet.
