Thumbs Up, Michigan!
Part art tour, part foodie experience, all fun – this wander has it all.
[a7763177-9541-4bb3-a245-10a3e0b7b253.png]
We stumbled across the 53 North Barn Art Project and thought,
let’s build a ride around this. Then we realized the Caseville Cheeseburger Festival happens in the same corner of Michigan…and just like that, Thumbs Up! was born.
We’ll kick things off Friday morning at Fort Wilderness RV Park, rolling out toward the 53 North Barn Art Project. Along the way, we’ll take our time soaking in these creative, larger-than-life installations scattered across the countryside. We’ve got lunch planned at Bird Creek Farms before continuing on to Sleeper State Park.
Set along the shores of Lake Huron, Sleeper is the perfect place to land for the night. Once camp is set, Pete and Jim will take care of dinner so you can relax and enjoy a laid-back evening by the lake.
Saturday, we ride back toward Fort Wilderness, where we’ll set up camp for night two. After a quick reset, we’ll spin over to Caseville to take in the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Cheeseburger Festival.
After the festivities, we’ll ride back to camp for another night under the stars.
Sunday morning starts with a relaxed breakfast before we pack up and head out – wrapping up a weekend full of art, riding, great food, and classic Michigan summer vibes.
