2026 Nantucket ShamRock Run!

The 14th annual ShamRock Run will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00am. Runners and walkers of all calibers are welcome! The event will start and finish at 5 Bartlett Farm Road, at the Cisco Brewery parking lot. There will be two Little Leprechaun Leaps prior to the race, one for children 18 months to 4 years; the second for children 5 - 10 years of age. Both races are FREE of charge, with face painting and fun to follow!

The ShamRock Run and walk will begin promptly at 11:00am; lite bites, music, and fun to follow at Cisco Brewery.

Race swag and bib pick-up will take place on Friday, March 20th at the Haulover from 4:30-5:30pm and on Saturday, March 21st at Cisco Brewery from 9:30-10:30am.

The ShamRock Run is a fundraiser for the Nantucket Island Safe Harbor for Animals, proceeds first pay for the race expenses and all residual funds go to the Nantucket Island Safe Harbor for Animals (NISHA)! Please know in advance there will be NO refunds. All proceeds from this event first pay for race expenses, all residual monies are donated directly to NISHA. In the event of inclement weather the race may be postponed or cancelled, at the race director's discretion. NO refunds will be given in the event of a cancellation due to weather, your fee will be considered a donation to NISHA.

Join us on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 10:00am for an exciting new event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of the Nantucket Vineyard! The Nantucket Vineyard was founded in 1981 and is a part of the Cisco Social Club! Their property is a place where time slows and conversation flows, where tourists and locals call it their favorite spot and smiles are served by the glass. So, whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. Results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.

Join us for the Nantucket Police Charitable Association 5K run/walk!

This race is not just about fitness, but also about giving back to our island community. All funds raised will go directly to local initiatives, supporting the people of Nantucket. In the past, we have used funds raised to give graduating high school seniors and alumni scholarships, the annual Children’s Christmas Party, our Pink Patch project supporting the Marla Ceely Lamb fund, youth programs, and other local community based organizations.

This year’s Race For Open Space will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2026. This 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) race or 2-mile walk attracts serious runners, casual joggers, walkers, and those who are simply avid conservation supporters. Proceeds from the Race will go to support the Foundation’s mission to steward and protect the island’s invaluable open spaces.

COURSE: Scenic course starting and ending at Jetties Beach through residential areas including Beach Street, the Cliff with the finish on Hulbert Ave and Bathing Beach

NUMBER/T-SHIRT PICK UP: Free Official Race T-Shirt to the first 500 runners and walkers TO PICK UP THEIR NUMBERS at Nantucket Health Club, 10 Young’s Way (508) 228-4750. It is strongly recommended you pick up your timing chip and T shirt on Thursday, July 3rd 9:00 AM to 6 PM to avoid the rush and have the best chance of receiving a proper size shirt. Race day sign up is at Jetties Beach starting at 6 AM
